Complement for the business trip

Good breakfast to charge the energy for the whole business meeting.
Refresh the body by swimming into the beautiful pool.
Recharge the brain at rooftop brolly bar which has reasonable price and good menu.
Plan for next day with good wifi.

Disappointing-would not recommend

Out of the five hotels all in same category and price we stayed in Myanmar this one is the only one I would not recommend. Firstly we requested on booking a non smoking room and was hit with the smell of cigarettes as soon as we entered and every time we re- entered.The Standard room was shabbier than the photos show.The pool was very uninviting as it was so cloudy you could not see past the first step. The breakfast only catered for asians, being buffet with fried eggs and stir fries, no cereals but toast and one variety of jam which on our first day only had 3 slices of bread left (1 hr still before close time for breakfast) and when asked for just 1 more slice, which took some effort as the staff speak next to nil english they came back with ' no more left' but then sent a staff member out to get some when they could tell we weren't impressed. We then asked for a knife which they don't put out and that also took much effort to communicate, which we had to ask for every day as the asian guests don't use knives. The only satisfactory breakfast was the day guest numbers were down so you had a choice of european or continental breakfast. Two young boys on reception spoke english well but most of the staff have very little so hard to communicate with. The location is a bit far from Mandalay city centre but close to the palace and Mandalay Hill but there is limited eateries in the location. I would not recommend this hotel as I think there would be better and far more choices in Mandalay.

I don’t recommend this hotel!!

The windows was not tightened properly so there came in mosquitos all the time. The room was okey but nothing special. The location was not the best.
When we checked out they accused us for taking the laundry bag, which they find in the room a couple minutes later. Then they made us pay 1000 for a coffee stain on the bedsheets!
I don’t recommend this hotel!

Too expensive for such bad service

Accused us for taking their laundry bag, but after realizing it was still there we still had to pay 1000 kyat for a coffee stain.
Guys by the pool didn’t care too much when asked questions.
Windows in the room didnt properly close so free entry for mosquitoes at night.
Overall okey place, since the price was pretty high, and some of the staff was kind. But wouldn’t really recommend it.

Didn’t stay there, awful communication

This hotel wrote to us only to ask us to cancel our booking due to renovations of the family room, never replied when we asked what was happening, if there were other rooms available, if there was another solution, why they didn’t cancel on their side.
No answer but after a week of no response, we cancelled before our credit card was debited by the booking platform.
What a surprise that the room was made available on that platform again... at a higher price!
We will never know if there were renovations or not but we wouldn’t stay in a place that doesn’t bother to respond to emails or write only once to ask to cancel without further help.
