Awesome, in so many ways

Awesome location. Easily accessible and Bruges. Would actually go out of my way to stay again if in the area. Great host, Great breakfast. The surrounding neighborhood and town was a good retreat from the normal hectic city environment

Very poor

Booked this B&B to host my parents as we were moving house in the area.
Even though we paid premium, my parents were relegated to a garden shed that was cold, had a moldy smell and had a bad mattress.
Owner was apparently not interested in getting feedback at checkout.
Avoid this place.

Hello Kris,
I was a bit suprised when I saw your review to say the least.
Even though you paid the price of a standard room we upgraded your parents to the cottage in the garden (with more privacy, space and thus more expensive) yet you claim they got a downgrade?
We explain to every guest how the heating system works so they can adjust it as they please.
Because of the covid regulations rooms are constantly aired and refreshed until the guests arrive.
We are always concerned about the well being of our guests and how we can improve our services so feedback is always at checkout.
You're always welcome to come visit us randomly to see for yourself.

Great quaint Bed & Breakfast

Lovely place to stay! The owners are friendly and very nice to talk with. They helped us with a map of Ghent and where to park. Booked us a place to eat in the small town of Merelbeke. Very nice couple! Breakfast in the morning was beautiful the sunroom where we ate was superb!

Amazingly beautiful place

This B&B is beautiful. It is in a relatively remote village surrounded by nice cottages and farmland (btw, you can smell farms at times).
The rooms were good size, kids got their own room. There was fully equipped kitchen and several dining tables outside in the garden. Surely the best part of the house.
The hosts were very nice and attentive.
They served delicious breakfast, with fruits, variety of breads and pastries, eggs cooked to order, etc.

Relaxing Place

3 of us as 5* hotel staff from Thailand and 1 friend from Holland.we stayed here 2 nights after our round trip in Europe and we enjoyed our stay here and very quiet and only 8km from Ghent. The owner were very friendly and helpful to us, giving out info in the area n how to get to Ghent. room, sheets, floors, bathroom, bed room and tower etc are so clean. The aménité in the room very similar to 5* hotels. I recoomend this B&B is good location and distance if you are visiting Ghent. Then we did enjoy the breakfast.
