Fantastic B&B!

What a wonderful stay! A very attractive, luxurious B&B in a beautiful building with large garden. It is in a quiet place. The breakfast is superb: fresh, very extensive and served in a covered (and heated) country house belonging to the B&B. The room is very spacious, with seating, a sofa, a very good bed, nice shower and lots of closet space. Not to mention: clean and dark for the night.
The hostess is very friendly and sweet and likes to think along with you where you can go in the area.
For us the weather was unfortunately not nice enough to use the pool. But in good weather, it can not be other than relaxing in / by the pool, in the beautiful garden.

LOVVVVVVVVED THIS PLACE!, THE BEST B&B IN BELGIUM!

Don't know where to start with how wonderful this place is!!, & its owner Kathleen!, a really lovely lady who took our last second booking at very short notice due to being very let down by our 6 month rental at another property! Having left behind the horrendous noisy building site we have now unfortunately signed up to, it was absolutely fabulous to arrive at this tranquil paradise in the countryside & enjoy a few relaxing, peaceful days. Kathleen was so welcoming & attentive, nothing was too much trouble. The B&B & its gardens are simply stunning & very stylish. The apartment itself was top class!, beautiful sitting area with kitchen facilities, wonderful bathroom, fab large walk in wardrobe & a bedroom to die for with the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in! The hubby had to drag me away from here kicking and screaming lol!!! (might be back if the building work next to ours gets any worse!!). Thank you to Kathleen for turning our dreadful week in to a great one!

Beeldschoon, een pareltje!

De mooiste B&B waar we ooit zijn verbleven!
Prachtig ingericht pand te midden van de natuur.
Bovendien mochten we kennis maken met een hele mooie en super lieve gastvrouw.
Voor diegene met een bucketlist ... genieten en tot rust komen in deze B&B moeten jullie in jullie lijst opnemen.
Je wordt verwend op alle vlakken! Wij zijn blij “De Lievde” te hebben gevonden!

Chambre d’hôte incroyable

Un accueil chaleureux qui vous met tout de suite à l’aise, une hôte aux petits soins pour vous pendant tout le séjour (que l’on quitte le cœur serré), une grande chambre très confortable (très grand lit de très bonne qualité, salle de bain moderne et très belle, grand dressing, cafetières théières et frigo, coin tv et coin repas), situé au calme au milieu des champs à côté d’un canal et d’une intersection de plusieurs pistes cyclables. A 20 minutes de Gand en voiture et une petite heure de Bruges, de très belles balades à pied ou à vélo (Katleen nous avait réservé les vélos qui étaient à disposition au gîte), une très belle piscine chauffée et un sauna (que nous n’avons pas testé). Des petits déjeuners énormes et délicieux. Une ambiance intime ( 2 chambres uniquement, 3 si il s’agit d’un même groupe). Un B&B superbe a ne pas manquer ! Grand merci à Katleen pour cet accueil extraordinaire !

Subliem 5* BB !!

Een paar dagen in mn eentje en later samen met mijn man wezen logeren. Waar zal ik beginnen? De locatie is werkelijk prachtig: een geweldige mix van een nieuw gebouwde luxe boerenhoeve en mooie open ruimtes super stijlvol ingericht, omgeven door een prachtige tuin en een enorm gazon, lavandel, kruidentuin. Het huis is door de eigenaren zelf gebouwd en er is gelet op alle details. Ik had kamer Ineke, boven gelegen met veel privacy. Het is een soort van mini appartement voorzien van alle gemakken. Een geweldig comfortabel luxe bed met prachtig gesteven linnen. Mooie hoge nok, apart lounge gedeelte, geluidsinstallatie, smart tv, dimbare spots en een prachtige badkamer met marmer en gesloten kitchenette met minibar. Kathleen is een fantastische gastvrouw en haar is werkelijk niets teveel om het naar je zin te maken. Je merkt echt dat ze het met hart en ziel doet. En het voelt alsof je bij een vriendin logeren bent. Alles kan en niets hoeft. Super flexibel en een geweldig uitgebreid ontbijt en lunch. We hadden een onverwacht zonnig dagje: we hebben lekker aan het verwarmde zwembad gelegen! De BB is omgeven door prachtige landerijen en boeren bedrijven, fijn om te fietsen en te wandelen en op 20 min met auto of taxi van Gent en ca 45 min van de zee. Kortom: één vd mooiste BB waar ik heb mogen logeren, naar mijn mening: 5*!
