Oasis in Ghent Central
An historic peaceful space a few minutes walk from the thriving city centre
Bedroom s were spacious,the whole facility was spotlessly clean
Great breakfast with a full choice hot and cold
How nice to spend time in a bustling city centre and be able to walk 5 minutes to calmness
Staying in the very sympathetically converted monastery make one feel psrtf an historical journey rather than the bland experience of an international hotel chain
Pleaent surprise to find it such great value at€145 for two people B&B
I would definitely return on my next Ghent visit

Uncomfortable disappointing family stay
Sewer gas smell throughout all 3 floors on day one. Bathroom smelled entire visit. Airco was small individual unit on second floor and did not cool bedrooms. No fans in 3rd floor bedroom. No working lamps in second floor bedroom. Nespresso needed cleaning and hardly made coffee. Furnishings and stored owner items created unwelcoming spaces. The location of the property was convenient, but otherwise not a good value for cost.

Top weekend
Everything is within walking distance.
In the monastery there is peace and quiet and the rooms are fine and in the morning a delicious breakfast.

Fantastic resting place in the middle of the busy city
My room was great. I expected very small room, but my room was fairly large with nice bathroom.
I arrived after the reception closed but access was shared with me by email and went smoothly.
The breakfast was very rich and tasty. Beautiful atmosphere in the corridors and the refectory of the former monastery. Overall everything excellent. Happy and grateful that I got to stay here
