Disappointing stay – price and quality totally out of balance
Unfortunately our stay at Hotel Eden Trip in Antwerp was quite disappointing.
The hotel is very close to the city centre and the airport. Also, the welcome was friendly and the room was clean on its own.
Unfortunately, there are quite a few downsides. The underground parking garage has very narrow access and also the parking spaces are very tight. The advantage is that the car is therefore off the street.
The room was small and incredibly warm. The air conditioning did not work, making the stay very unpleasant. In addition, a light was broken, a wall outlet did not work and the sink ran badly. The elevator also did not work properly.
Luckily we hadn't booked breakfast.
All in all, I find the value for money totally out of proportion to what you get. For this price, you expect basic facilities such as air conditioning, electricity and plumbing to function properly.
Pros: friendly welcome, clean room and good location near the center.
Cons: small and warm room, faulty air conditioning and amenities, moderate lift and very tight parking garage.
Final verdict: disappointing. For this price I would choose another hotel.

The room was perfectly good with working A/C and everything I needed for my quick overnight stay.
Location was very good, a short walk from Amsterdam Central Station and the centre of the city.

Significantly expensive and disappointing
