Very comfortable hotel.

Naftalan Guest House is very comfortable hotel. Naftalan Guest house located in the center of city. The staff very friendly. The breakfast was so tasty. Also they offer free parking, free internet, and they allow pets.

Escaped from there

Terrible place, stinks, hard to find.
Well, for 10 euro I didn't expected much of course, but the toilet wasn't fixed to the ground (!), and after sy fixed it, the container didn't filled itself automatically with water, so next morning I left. Better to say: escaped.

stay elsewhere

Booked three nights , on the face of it £10 a night should have warned us , the photos looked ok and all we need is a safe place to park our truck and somewhere to lay our head .
All our travels , probably the worst .Bathroom had no hot water , hadn't been cleaned in years (mouldy tiles ), the soap ,used had pubic hairs on it.Smelt of drains , no hot water , unfixed wash basin that leaked . Rough area of town and is in fact the lower floor of a run down tower block .Only plus side was the cost , but better are not that much expensive

Hospitable, but...

The place is of the Soviet era and nothing's been done since then, it seems. The double-room we stayed in was big but very, very old, just like the whole building with no repairment or furniture renovation ever. The small bathroom had a shower right over the toilet which was not a big problem, however, hot water was given strictly only at set evening hours, so that left us unfree with our city tour schedule and plans. The room has not been cleaned in the 6 days while we stayed there, but the problem was the it seemed it hasn't been cleaned well before (dust everywhere). A small breakfast of eggs, bread and butter and tea is included and the host and his employees are hospitable and would offer tea during the day, or even soup as we were lucky to have ) The host was very hospitable, but that was more of the national trait probably and maybe in part - some compensation for the state of the place. The location is relatively good as there is a lot of public transport on the nearby highway, plus it's just a block away from Heyday Aliyev's cultural centre.

Не знаю на чем основываются отзывы..
Но мы увидели другую "картину".. не ту что на картинках.
Как только зашла, запах и вид очень потрепаной мебели крайне насторожили.
Но решила, что может дальше будет лучше. Но! нас провели в комнату.
Очень старая мебель, окно где - то под потолком, и самое интересное душ. Либо ты моешься на унитазе, либо поворачиваешь его и прям около унитаза.
Низкая цена не оправдание. Есть прекрасные не дорогие хостелы.
И про район нам после сказали, что крайне не благоприятный для выбора туристов.
Искали срочно другой отель.
