Sunny autumn day
An absolute highlight in autumn!
On the maple floor, when the maple trees turn colourful, the interplay of colour, light and sun is simply magical. We had perfect weather with lots of sunshine – it couldn’t have been better. Even the approach over Vorderriss is impressive, and when you drive into the maple soil, it is simply gigantic how many maple trees are standing there.
At the end of the afternoon we finished with a hearty bacon plate and a cool beer on the Eng Alm. An absolute must for us every year!

Always very happy!!!
At the beginning of May 2025, we stayed for the first time at the Naturhotel.
We liked it so much that at the end of July we went back to the Eng for a hiking holiday. We were warmly welcomed and got "our" room. We had four wonderful days. Hiking in this fascinating area is balm for the soul.
Start the day with a great breakfast, then hike to Binsalm or Falkenhütte, fortified.......that's fun - whether it's raining or the sun is shining.
In the evening enjoy a delicious menu in the restaurant. This is a conclusion for every successful day.
The Service at the hotel is top notch, the food a poem and the cleanliness leaves nothing to be desired. The sibling team and its employees have everything under control.
100% recommendation.

A dream for a relaxing and relaxing holiday
The accommodation, the area, the hosts, everything was fully to our satisfaction. No wish was left unfulfilled. They are very nice hosts with a great team. You can hardly put it into words, you just have to have seen and experienced it. The spaciousness of the alpine pastures me the magnificent maple trees, the proximity to the mountains, the tranquility. Breakfast and dinner are very extensive and designed with a lot of love. Both sisters always responsive and helpful, the staff hardworking, nice and fast.
We come back to spend a precious part of the year, the holiday.
If you don't recover here and bring down the stress, I don't know....

Great hotel in beautiful nature.
A place of cultivated Austrian hospitality in the middle of dreamlike nature. Just great.
Large but cozy hotel with restaurant, tavern, breakfast room and beautiful old farmhouse parlour. Large terrace with many seats available (mostly covered with awnings). Children's playground. Parking is available in front of the hotel (cars, buses, motorcycles and bicycles). The entire house makes a very well maintained impression. Rooms partially newly renovated: Maple room: approx. 30 sqm, modern furnishings and furnished balcony. Very, very clean and beautiful.
The food and service is perfect. The warm hospitality is exemplified by the two bosses and practiced by the entire staff.
The hotel is the starting point for very easy to difficult hikes, no matter the weather.
We had no nice weather in May 4 days and were out every day: Binsalm, narrow ground closure down to the Lalider walls, Eng Alm towards Falkenhütte. Great advantage: We were almost always on our own. Accompanied by chamois, marmots and mountain jackdaws. It's pure relaxation.
The hotel also has various saunas that we did not use. There are also e-bikes (for a fee) and bicycles (for free).
The hotel is an absolute recommendation.
The Great Maple Floor as well.
So nothing but there.
