Good, affordable hotel in a good location
The Imlauer & Nestroy is a good point of contact in the 2nd district. In about 100 meters, you reach the tram or subway to get into the city. The location can be described as quiet.
The friendliness of the staff is very noticeable.
Always a smile on their lips, they always helped. We especially found it great that our room was already ready for occupancy at 11 a.m. We particularly appreciated that our room was ready for us at 11 a.m. Thank you for that ❤️
The rooms are beautifully furnished; nothing is missing. The beds are comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well. The size of the room is adequate.
Everything is also available in the bathroom; only the slot in the door to support ventilation was misleading.
But overall, a clear recommendation given the price-performance ratio.

very bad
the hotel is very good from the outside but there are many bad things. first off the A./C. doesn't work and just makes noise, on the first floor there is a window that is hard to close with the curtains which means that you don't have any privacy in that floor, last and the worst out of all these three, i asked to call a taxi at 4 o'clock and they made it arrive two hours earlier and when i told them it was supposed to be two hours later when it arrived the right time they still made me pay for BOTH TIMES EVEN IF I ONLY SAID ONE and the other taxi they called wanted 15$ more than the expected tariffa they told us.

Our reception is available 24 hours a day, and guest satisfaction is always our highest priority. We would have been more than happy to look into your concerns and, if possible, offer you a room change or another suitable solution. Unfortunately, if we are not made aware of an issue during the stay, we do not have the opportunity to assist or make improvements while the guest is still with us.
Regarding the air conditioning, we would like to clarify that the system is generally operational throughout the entire hotel.
We have also followed up with the colleague who assisted you with your taxi reservation. She assured us that the taxi pick-up time was discussed with you several times. She also showed you the booked time in writing, which you confirmed and agreed to. We therefore regret that there appears to have been a misunderstanding regarding the taxi reservation.

A functional hotel
We escaped the scorching heat of Vienna into the hotel. Upon arrival there were problems because there had been a smoke alarm and entrances were blocked. So we wandered through hallways without help. The room was functionally modern. The bathroom was pleasantly spacious. We missed little extras like mineral water as a welcome and a few utensils in the bathroom. The breakfast was okay without highlights. Due to a very bad experience with another hotel, I am giving it 4 stars overall...the air conditioning was great

Es tut uns leid, dass Ihre Anreise durch den ausgelösten Feueralarm beeinträchtigt wurde. Der Alarm wurde durch andere Hausgäste verursacht und machte aus Sicherheitsgründen eine kurzfristige Sperrung einzelner Bereiche notwendig. Wir verstehen, dass dies unangenehm war, bitten jedoch um Verständnis, dass wir auf solche Situationen keinen Einfluss haben und die Sicherheit unserer Gäste stets oberste Priorität hat.
Bezüglich des Mineralwassers möchten wir anmerken, dass wir kostenlose Wasserflaschen in unseren höheren Zimmerkategorien anbieten. Als Träger des Österreichischen Umweltzeichens legen wir großen Wert auf Nachhaltigkeit. Aus diesem Grund befinden sich verschiedene zusätzliche Pflegeprodukte an unserer Rezeption und nicht standardmäßig in jedem Zimmer. So können wir unnötigen Abfall vermeiden und stellen die Produkte bei Bedarf jederzeit gerne zur Verfügung.
Schade, dass unser Frühstück Ihre Erwartungen nicht vollständig erfüllen konnte. Wir bieten täglich ein reichhaltiges Warm- und Kaltfrühstücksbuffet mit unbegrenztem Kaffee- und Teegenuss, verschiedenen Säften, Cerealien, Müslis, Marmeladen, süßen Spezialitäten sowie Lachs und Sekt an. Wir bedauern, dass unser Angebot Sie nicht vollständig überzeugen konnte.

I wouldn't hesitate in staying again.
Location was great and the room large and comfortable. Lovely to have the rear doors opening up onto the wrap around balcony.
The staff were friendly and very approachable and nothing was too much bother.

The staff are superlative: helpful, professional, friendly. I cannot speak highly of them enough. The breakfast is good. The room comfortable. The only minor quibble I might have (and one I could likely have addressed with the hotel if I'd summoned the enthusiasm to do so) is that the pillows were not firm enough for me. Nevertheless, a comfortable stay within easy walking distance of public transport, supermarket and restaurants. Would recommend.
