Budget hotel solution for travellers within walking distance of the centre
Hostel a few minutes from the city center cheap but functional and equipped with every comfort. Equipped with single and shared rooms depending on budget. Practical for travelers, modern and minimal. Entrance in front of a convenient square with metro connections and location located a few steps from the main services and useful merchants.

Absolute cheek!
If one wants to know how little comfort one can get for their money, this is the right place.
The walls are so thin that one involuntarily participates in the lives of the neighbors. Sleep was hardly possible. The bed linens were also covered with hair – apparently, cleanliness was understood here more as a suggestion.
The bathroom topped it all off: black stains on the toilet and a showerhead that cannot even be hung up. One must therefore hold it during the shower. Very practical.
For two people, there is a tiny closet that feels like it can't even fit the luggage of one person. And as a bonus, you receive exactly one towel per person – luxury looks different.
Overall, unfortunately, a big disappointment. I will definitely not stay here a second time.

Unprofessionalism
My stay at this hotel was unfortunately very disappointing. The behavior and professionalism of the staff left much to be desired. Several employees seemed overwhelmed and could not help me with simple questions. Instead of helpful support, I often received only disrespectful or unkind answers.
I was particularly negative about the male supervisor, whose appearance and dealings with guests were even more unprofessional and rude than with the other employees. Such behaviour is absolutely inappropriate for a leadership position.
A hotel should give its guests a sense of welcome and good care – unfortunately the opposite was true here. I hope that management will take this seriously and significantly improve both the training and the way guests are treated.

Get away from this hotel!!!
Extremely loud, until three o'clock in the morning it was noisy in the courtyard, despite complaining to the porter who did not want or could not change anything. I then went down myself, but changed just as much. Then at 6 a.m. a servant swept the courtyard and tables and chairs went rudely crazy. Conclusion - three hours of sleep in an exceptionally small room, slightly wider than the bed, and at the foot end there was the TV, which made the passage even more difficult. Not really clean but still a tiny bathroom, toilet, sink and a shower that opens about 50 cm. The icing on the cake was then breakfast, we were each served a plate with a spoonful of egg dish, two wheels of extra sausage, two slices of ham, two sheets of cheese and some vegetables, whether you like it or not and the bread had already spent at least two nights in the hotel. But there was still a nice selection of ready-made products, cakes, milk rolls, chocolate cream, peanut butter, etc. topped by inedible coffee. Depositing our impressions and complaints with the porter would have done no good, as he probably wouldn't have understood even half.

Terrible place
Terrible place (Do Step Inn - Westbanhof). The rooms (mattresses, pillows, etc.) smelled strongly of cigarettes (when they were supposedly non-smoking) and there was a group of children staying in our hallway without any adult supervision. They spent the nights playing football in the hallways, kicking walls and doors, running, shouting, and playing music at full blast. When we went to tell reception, after politely speaking to the children twice without any result, the response we received from the staff member was: we are a hostel - so it is normal to be a lot of noise - (????) and they are a group of children.
We asked if we had not also paid for the stay like the others (the children), but they were not very concerned. The walls separating the rooms are only made of plasterboard/material used on the walls and false ceilings (thin wood), which made the situation worse.
We stayed there for 3 nights. We ended up canceling the remaining two nights and looking for another place. If you are looking for a place to sleep, I do not recommend this place at all. There are no conditions for this and the employees are not concerned with the well-being of all customers.
