unique on Lake Attersee

Were in the very tastefully furnished house for dining with great drink service by a sommeliera - also deliciously antialcoholic -everything in the best and all with views of the garden, the beautiful house and Lake Attersee- a dream!

Mind boggling

We are here right now at Attersee in Austria. A fantastic not overtly congested and commercially to the hilt exploited and used area. You have mountains on one hand and a great Great Lake on the other. And right in the Centre lies this family led great little establishment with a very conscientious owner at the helm. This is a simple family friendly and very open and informal hotel. Rooms are very nice and the overall atmosphere is extremely positive. All in all a highly recommendable experience for the likeminded.

Comfortable and friendly

This is a large, beautiful house very close to the lake. Breakfast was varied and delicious, with many homemade choices. We also had dinner at the pension one evening (stayed only 2 nights), and were very pleased with the quality and portions of the food. Although it is close to the lake, the pension swim area is about a 10-15 minute walk away, along a crowded roadway. But this was still very convenient, considering that the entire shore area is privately owned. The only reason I'm not giving this B&B a top rating is that we didn't like the crowded dining area (there are many rooms, so when it's full, there are many guests), with a lot of small children running around yelling and playing. This, of course, is very family friendly, but I would rather not have this kind of noise when I'm eating.

Lovely Bed & Breakfast otel, very close to the lake, best breakfast ever!

It is a 600 year old farmhouse,which is with the same family owners since inception. The house needs lots more re-decoration over the next years ... but over the last three years already lots of improvements were made. Gina, the owner, is working very hard and with lots of dedication to make Hanslmann into a lovely place.
On thursday, friday and saterday Hanslmann offers a great dinner, prepared with lots of love and creativity.
The style of Hanslmann is a bit retro style - it s all in the details. At first we didn't really notice, but after a day or two we 'fell in love' with Hanslmann.
The rooms aren't of the latest standard, - and I am sure in the coming years lots of things can and will be improved - but it's the owners friendliness, her competent staff, and the 'aura' of the building / surrounding itself which make Hanslmann a special place.
We stayed for 4 days with my wife and two children, age 11 and 13.
They are very close (400 metres walking distance) to their own private access to the lake .. stunning views, clearest water (you can almost drink it) ..
We booked twice private yoga sessions with Birgit Hofstätter - which were great as well (-:

Wahnsinnig überteuert: Haubenpreise mit Selbstbedienung

Selbstbedienung mit Haubenküchenpreisen! Ein winziger Beilagensalat für den ich mich 3x anstellen (Kasse & 2x beim Standl) musste und auch die Biertische selbst aufzubauen waren für 6,5 € … waren 4 Kinderbissen grüner Salat mit 2 Kinderbissen Krautsalat; ich fasse es nicht

es tut mir sehr leid, dass Sie den wirklich kleinen Salat so bekommen haben. Das war ein Fehler in der Ausgabe und nicht in unserem Interesse. Bitte entschuldigen Sie!
Das Tische selber aufstellen ist dem unerwartet großen Andrang geschuldet. Wie Sie selber gesehen haben, waren alle Tische belegt, die Mitarbeiterinnen voll eingeteilt und Sie haben sich dazu entschieden zu bleiben und den Tisch selber aufzustellen.
Das freut uns natürlich!
Mehr Standl, heißt mehr Auswahl! Ist von uns als Angebot gedacht und nicht als Umweg.
Aber eine Bitte hätte ich noch- bitte verraten Sie mir das Haubenlokal wo man einen Salat um 6,50€ bekommt- da muss ich hin!!
