Great stay - will come back!

I have stayed at the motel for two nights and I enjoyed my stay there very much. The owners provided an exceptional experience. The location is about 5-10 minutes drive from Velden am Wörthersee, great spot for smalls hikes and explore the lake area. Rooms are recently refurbished and spot-on clean. Check-in & check-out was smoothness. I also like to point out that the Breakfast was rich with a lot of options and accommodate all needs. (Eggs, bacon, vegetables cold meet and cheese selection) They even provided gluten free bread for me. I would definitely come back, and highly recommend it for couple-night stays!

The Old Car’s Motel is the best choice in Velden am Wörthersee. The Staff is so friendly and they are really really kind! The breakfast and the meals so delicious, everything is fresh and tasty. The rooms was really clean and comfortable. I can recommend for everyone!

Velden

Very good location, near to the lake. Friendly prices. Extreamly delicious foods, fantastic cocktails. Hospitable and friendly stuff. Tidy, clean rooms. Hardly recomannded place to stay if you are looking for a kind accomodation.

Stop and go!

One of the last room in the region because of the concert of Jon Bon Jovi in Klagenfurt and summer vacation was fair enough. Clean room, nice staff (all Hungarian) 'viszlat'
The only bad thing is (for me at least cos I can hear almost all while sleeping ) the road under the window. So daily nap was a bit stress for me. But nice and simpatico ambient!

Very good for what it is

The motel is just 5-9 mins drive from the centre of Velden. The room is large and comfy, with good shower, and available at a reasonable price. The service is provided with a smile. The owners had nicely decorated their motel with countless of used car parts and models which certainly entertained my 3.5 y-o son. So if you're just here for the night on the way to somewhere, or prefer a spot outside Velden for a wedding like we did, it's perfect.
Be aware though that this is not hotel. There is no room service during our stay. The owners also couldn't provide ironing facilities although they were happy for us to commandeer their blankets once we've bought our own iron. Payment at checkout must also be in cash.
