Lovely house and host!

This is a charming and clean house! The host is a very nice and helpful lady. She made a great breakfast in the also charming kitchen which included everything, it was a rich and tasty meal. From the house, you can take the bus up to the center or the lake or you can walk for 20 minutes to the center and ski cabin.

Very nice accomodation

We stayed at Landhaus Mayr for 7 nights and every day we drove about 30km to the ski areas nearby (Zillertal Arena, Kaltenbach, Mayrhofen). The price is very good compared to the hotels near the slopes so it might be a good option if you don't want to spend too much on accomodation. The hostess is a very nice person and although she doesn't speak English, we managed to get along with Google translate (she helped us practice our German and she was very happy that she could do that for us :) The rooms are small but very clean and they overlook the mountains. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Excellent welcoming and excellent ratio price/quality for Marauch

Really nice accommodation closer to a B&B than to a hotel where we stayed 1 one night offseason early September 2014. We were warmly welcomed and the room we occupied had a beautiful view to the mountain and was very well kept. We had a feeling of a warm atmosphere. We arrived kind of late but the host guided us through a 5 min walk near the next church where a local restaurant served us sensational food. That landhaus was very accommodating and maintained by very nice people. The breakfast was done exclusively for us and very filling. One thing is the host has a limited knowledge of English, so you need to dig up a bit of your school German to make the best of it.

You Just May Have Found Your Long Last German Mommy

What a wonderful hostess! Even though she spoke very little English and I flunked high school German my wife and I got along well with our friendly, attentive B&B owner. We were served a filling breakfast with a niced selection of local farm fresh products. The rooms were big and comfortable and everything was very clean. Big fluffy down comforters on long beds set inside a rustic pine-walled room. The telephone booth showers might weird-out a few folks but the water was warm as was the room itself. Our hostess (we never did learn her name) treated us like visiting family giving us the run of the house. She even came running out of her house to flag us down when we passed by the hard-to-find guesthouse a couple of times (use a GPS).
Very quiet location not far from great skiing in winter and lakeside fun in the summer.

Tranquillità vicino al lago

Punti positivi:
- Posizione: qualche minuto di macchina o di bici da lago, in una bellissima e tranquillissima vallata
- Rapporto qualità/prezzo (migliore che abbiamo trovato nel nostro viaggio in Austria) - Colazione semplice, ma buona
- Bella stanza, con balcone (anche se in comune con stanza accanto) e finestrella
Punti negativi
- La signora dell'hotel non parla inglese (è comunque cortese ma la comunicazione non è stata semplice)
- Pagamento solo con Cash (come in buona parte dell'Austria)!!
