Skiing to Lofer

Absolutely fantastic host couple. Service and hospitality were so good.
We had a lovely room where it was cleaned every day.
There were many good facilities. Including a sauna area.
Breakfast was served with soul.
Trails were only a short walk away.
The town of Lofer is cosy and nature is so beautiful.
We didn't want home.

Beautiful days in Lofer at Haus Patricia

Haus Patricia is centrally located in Lofer, but in a quiet area. Hotel parking spaces are right in front of the door. We received a very warm welcome from the hosts. The well-equipped room was exactly what we wanted and offered a beautiful mountain view. Everything is very clean and lovingly designed. In the basement, there is a cozy bar with billiards and foosball, as well as a beverage refrigerator. The extensive breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. The hostess provided many tips for activities in the Lofer area, and brochures are also available. Lofer and the region are definitely worth a trip, and staying at Haus Patricia provides the perfect setting for it. You'll love coming back here!

A vacation just as you would wish for...! Thank you!

For the 2nd time we were welcomed as guests of the house with love and extreme warmth. This time, too, we were overwhelmed not only by the great location but also by the cleanliness, the modern and cozy furnishings, and the unique hospitality of Melinda and Kevin. Free parking, storage options and charging stations for bikes, diverse cultural offerings in and outside the town, as well as the genuine interest in our well-being were heartwarming once again. Both were particularly interested in our hikes and bike tours, answered questions competently, and made suggestions that we were able to implement well both with and without the Saalachtal Card. Thank you so much! We will definitely be back!

We stayed at Haus Patricia in Lofer for just one night during our cycling tour, and it exceeded all our expectations!
A huge thank you to Melinda and Kevin for their incredibly warm welcome and outstanding hospitality. They made us feel at home from the very first moment. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and everything was perfectly organized for cyclists.
We only wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely come back and highly recommend Haus Patricia to anyone visiting the area. Thank you again, Melinda and Kevin!

Home from home

Stayed in Appartment 2 - everything catered for - even done to fresh rolls being delivered in the morning. The house is so peaceful - relaxing - the owners are around if needed - When time allows in her busy schedule - Melinda bakes cakes to share with guests and leaves treats at the front for guests to enjoy.Kevin enjoys his garage and is at home with any piece of wood he can find . The position of the property is off the main road so avoids any traffic noise. There is plenty of parking space for those who drive. We came by train and took advantage of the free Mobility travel pass which Melinda sent prior to our arrival allowing us free passage from Salzburg to Lofer and throughout the region all the time we were there- big saving. Also included in the stay is a local guest card allowing free access to the cable cars - again a massive saving - allowing saved money to be spent in the village restaurants which are excellent. The village retains a certain quaintness - taking us back to our youth - smaller shops close for lunch - and close Wednesday afternoon and only restaurants and cafes open on a Sunday - oh the good old days.
Melinda and Kevin are a delightful couple who have put a lot of effort into the property and it shows- we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and look forward to returning in 2027
