Perfect Family Spring Skiing Trip Getaway/5-Star/Culinary & Sauna Standouts

Our family of 4 including 17 and 20-year old joined us for 5 days of skiing in Lech. We loved everything about this hotel--stunning views of mountains and balcony room over the river plus superb 6-course meal everyday with 3 options (meat, fish, vegetarian) that never repeated plus incredibly imaginative and delicious desserts each night. If you are a foodie and love nouvelle cuisine, you will NOT be disappointed plus their wine list is extensive and global. The Strolz Family are wonderful, attentive and personable hosts. The bar area is also very welcoming and preserves the alpine look with woodwork plus relaxing couches and chairs if you want an aperif or after dinner drink just next to the dining room. Each guest has their own table reserved for breakfast and for dinner. Their spa center includes infrared, traditional sauna, a beautiful pool plus other sauna rooms to enjoy after a fun day on the slopes. They also have a small gym with elliptical and treadmill and some weights/mats as well. The hotel offers ski rentals inside the property and they were terrific adjusting boots and picking out equipment. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful too from made to order omelets to cereal and all kinds of breads and marmalades! You can also unwind on their terrace apres ski and have an afternoon snack. All 3 of our rooms were clean, spacious and very up to date plus the atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. We also took advantage of the fun toboggan run (hotel has complimentary sleds) in Lech which is a must! The hotel is a short walk to the tram or to the town shops or apres-ski hot spots. Hotel Auenhof also arranged for lift tickets right at the front desk, gave us recos on guides to hire plus picked us up in town upon arrival from our transportation from Zurich. 5 star worthy in our opinion--Highly recommended!

Every year again!

An annual ski holiday in Lech with a stay at the Auenhof is an absolute must for us.
Directly on arrival you lead yourself welcome and at home. The host family is courteous and always present. This hotel is run with love and commitment, this can be felt everywhere!
Special mention should also be made of the delicious evening menu.
Incidentally, the Auenhof is not only worth a visit in winter, but also in summer.

Total relaxation & superb experience

We stayed for 5 nights for a special wedding anniversary ski trip. I chose Hotel Auenhof after reading reviews and comparing to other hotels in Lech. There is a tranquil atmosphere throughout the hotel and I couldn’t be happier with our stay here. Friendly and professional staff with a keen eye for detail and high standards. Incredible fine dining every night but also standout breakfasts and afternoon snacks.
Another reason I decided on Hotel Auenhof reading as the vast wine list. Choosing the wine each evening was a highlight we looked forward to.
We stayed in one of the suites which was very comfortable with ample storage space. The room was very clean and the housekeeping team did a great job at looking after us.
Highly recommend Hotel Auenhof.

This is where you just want to go: top-hotel!

For the fifth time we are in this amazing hotel. Everything checks out here! A cozy and atmospheric atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff and comfortable rooms. Pool and sauna are also very nice. It is a wonderful base to make beautiful walks in and around Lech in the summer. The highlight of every day: dinner with the most amazing desserts! Highlight of the day!!!

Not to be missed

Very nice hotel, excellent breakfast and diner en very friendly staff.
One of our friends fell on the ski slopes and had to undergo surgery. The staff were exceptionally helpful in handling everything ( recovery of the ski's, doctor etc).
