Magnifique petit bijou ! Je me sentais chanceux de rester ici.
Quel régal de séjourner dans un joyau architectural ! J'étais vraiment excité de rester ici et construit mon week-end autour de venir à Bregenz, en partie juste pour cet hôtel! Le petit lion n'a pas déçu ! Tout, de la communication avec le personnel, des chambres de luxe, une belle attention aux détails, un design propre et cool et un emplacement parfait pour une visite de week-end. Ne le manquez pas !

CITY OF BREGENZ A (TRIUMPH) ARCH
Dear little lion team,
we met a few days earlier in March,
we experienced the hotel,
we were passionate about architectural details,
We literally wandered through an arch and experienced an arch architecture transforming into a bridge and a habitat.
We are already looking forward to another entry and passing through your hotel arch, which always triumphs a bit
But be patient, because Bregenz was not built in one day either.

THE TRIUMPH ARCH
What I and my wife were able to experience impressively during our stay in March 2026 is the belief of the “little lion team” in the insight-generating power of dialogue, which is not just marketing, but based on genuine mutual interest of the family. And the interest in the small Löwe Stadthotel is not long in coming.
Architecture
Herzog & de Meuron or how an arch triumphs
The size of the divisible rooms 4 and 5 varies, with a view of the Kornmarkt and opposite the Vorarlberg Museum building, a tension is literally building up, which asserts itself as a building concept in an obvious way.
High room with view
A highlight is the high skylight hall, the hotel's salon. A sophisticated ceiling indentation creates an atmosphere of living and a dining room at the same time.
The architecture does not compete with the design, quite the contrary, because the separation is clean.
The stairwell, which is located in the centre of
soft blue pastel shade as if organically lined up and gives hotel guests access to the room wing through a white lacquered, transparent door made of steel frames and rods.
It's hard to believe how Herzog & de Meuron removes the former center of the object behind a historic city facade, provides enough space for geometry, sets arches for arches, bridges for passages between old and new.
The small Löwe Stadthotel could be a space for art, but it is also self-sufficient.
The city hotel extension also gives the village a small garden to the east with an old maple tree, in between a sculpture, breakfast cookies with impressive views of the interior facade of the object, which presents itself in its entirety as an arch:
Arriving at this location (finally), at the latest there, in the contemplation of the shape, width, spaces and staircase of the city hotel, the remarkable arch line of architecture Herzog & de Meuron meets the field of view of one's own perception.
However, the shape and width chosen so that in this arch architecture tensile forces are dissolved in favor of aesthetics, because with the arch is not only covered the support line, but also fulfills the actual function of the arch as a vault.
What remains is not an arch of triumph, but rather the city of Bregenz is an arch richer, an arch that triumphs.

Nice city hotel in the heart of Bregenz
I'm absolutely thrilled with this delightful city hotel!
Nice welcome , nice hotel rooms, great decor with lots of modern processed wood, all very clean.
Excellent breakfast- with regional products.
Very individual and caring is addressed to the guest.I will definitely come back to the little lion

What a beautiful yet practical design in this friendly house
I'm absolutely thrilled. Not only is the hotel in the middle of the city, which is always a criterion for me. The reception was super friendly, our room on the market square with a loggia was bright and the interior design testifies to such good taste, the bathroom stunningly beautiful and practical. The breakfast definitely showed how friendly this hotel is run: everywhere a small flower, fresh orange juice, yogurt already filled into wake-up glasses, even the bread they cut open on request. They should get a subsidy from Bregenz Tourismus, I'm sure I'll go back there.
