Uneplanned find!

Our stay at the Young Tourist Park NSW was unplanned, but due to a vehicle breakdown we ended up there. Unfortunately it was Saturday 4th October ,and a long weekend in NSW. My phone call to the park was answered by Trevor who advised that there was only 1 powered site available for the Saturday and that they were totally booked out until Monday. As our van is self suffient Trevor towed our van into a space at the back of the park for the Sunday night and then we had a powered site for the Monday and Tuesday night. The park has powered sites with water, ensuites and cabins. The park and all the facilities are extremely clean and tidy, not a huge park but has everything needed for all travellers. Easy walk to the street. It is on a main road but we did not find it noisy at all. Trevor and Ronnie were very accomodating and a lovely couple, their staff are all friendly and do a fantastic job. We meet Mary who is a resident there and she was lovely and helpful. Trevor and Ronnie had only managed the park for approximately 9 weeks when we were there and I did hear from some guests who stay there every year on their way to Bathurst that it had improved imensely since their previous. This park is a credit to Trevor and Ronnie and we thoroughly recommend it and would stay there again. Greg (macca) and Cath McRae. Victoria.

The cabin was cold. The hand basin was tiny. The table was small and too high to eat at.

Dangerous

Owner verbally assaults you and is very aggressive.we have put a police report to his behaviour. Police state that they have a number of other reports to his behaviour. Watch out for your family and stay at your own risk. Scroll through other reviews if you do not believe me!!

ABUSIVE MANAGER: DO NOT GO THERE! ⚠️

ABUSIVE MANAGER. DO NOT GO THERE.
My family and I were in complete shock after the manager VERBALLY ABUSED my mother-in-law because she was driving a bit too fast in the driveway. He came at her caravan door, banged and literally ABUSE THE SH** OUT OF HER; an older woman and who appeared on her own. When my husband showed up to say: « we’re sorry, have a good night » he LOST IT. He then said: « idk who you think you are… ». That man is dangerous to woman.
We were so scared we packed everything and drove back to Canberra, being pitch-black.
IF YOU ARE A SOLO WOMAN; DO NOT GO THERE.

Stayed here for 2 nights to go to the warbirds show at Temora. Great little cabins, got everything to use if you want to cook your own meals. Good size cabins with plenty of room and quiet to,and convenient to aldi store which came in handy. Walking distance to main street. Only hassle i had was wifi wasn't to good, had to use my own, other than that no problems. Good friendly staff.
