Boutique Bed & Breakfast - one to return to and spend more time

Busy night in Newcastle with Matilda's and Cyndi Lauper. This location suited me and it was amazing. I arrived by train and 15 minute walk from Hamilton Station. Julie welcomed me and I felt very secure and comfortable. There is a kitchenette downstairs to make coffee and tea at any time. I was offered a lovely cheese platter. Quiet street and still minutes away from restaurants and cafes in Beaumont Street. Spacious room and huge bathroom with separate shower and bath/spa. There is a small balcony with table and chairs. Bed very comfortable and breakfast delicious. Hope to visit again and it would be a lovely place to stay as a couple. Air/Con or windows and door which are fully screened. Hope to return as a couple and see more of Newcastle

Excellent accommodation in a great location

After turning up to our booked accommodation to find they had no record of our booking we chanced upon on this B&B and I'm so glad we did. The owners were lovely and very helpful. The rooms are large and spotlessly clean. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom had a bath and a separate shower. Breakfast was included and was very tasty. The location is 100m from Beaumont St, which has many eateries and a pub. We were going to a concert at the entertainment centre which was an easy 20 minute walk. Overall it was very good value for money, and I will certainly stay again.

Very nice quiet neighborhood and close to shops and restaurants.
The drain of the spa was not fully closing.
Would be nice to have an updated TV.
Security was good. You got your own code for the duration of your stay.
Breakfast was good. Shr was very accomodating.
