Great stay at Port Macquarie backpackers

My husband and I stayed at Port Macquarie Backpackers on a motorbike tour. Ben and the team were welcoming and helpful. The room, we had a private room with ensuite, was very comfortable and clean, great shower, wifi worked well. The vibe is fantastic, plenty of areas to relax and a shared kitchen and plenty of info about the area and restaurants. We had a lovely dinner at a recommended restaurant, by the water and watched the sunset which is such a treat in Port Macquarie. We will definitely stay again

Amazing for what I needed and excelled my expectations

Location was close to everything I needed and more. The scenery is relaxing great sun by the pool and amazing in the morning the glow through the kitchen makes the day more exciting to look forward to. I really didn’t expect anything but WOW kitchen is fully equipped and sociable. The pool and out door area back and front spacious and calming. I actually came not so much enjoying my trip but this place and the staff just made it special. Ben the manager and Christian so helpful and the morning female staff amazing Elise, Bella and Sydnie is who I’ve met so far. I will certainly be keeping in contact throughout my travels. The place is so clean I travelled Europe and the cleanliness of this place is a 20 out of 10. I stayed in a private room at the start which was lovely and even the size is great for what I wanted sight seeing and being out exploring everything around I really didn’t spend much time in it but then I moved to a dorm and met so many amazing people can’t wait to stay again. Even though we are on a corner the noise levels are at a minimum and the whole place and people are respectful of the rules even when having people are having a drink or attending the properties events if on. The noise is perfect for me.
Thank you Ben and team I will be back very soon can’t wait to stay again.

Port Macquarie Backpackers

I haven’t stayed at a hostel for years and Port Macquarie Backpackers delivered in spades. Ben and his staff were brilliant, super friendly and knowledgeable. The place has a lovely warm vibe, with comfortable beds, excellent kitchen and amenities. Great value and we’ll be staying again next time we’re in town. 10/10. Patrick, Hobart.

Easy going and safe

Fantastic place for safety comfortability downtime and socialising. The own Ben and volunteers can not do enough to ensure their short and long stays are happy. Great security lockers to safely store your valuables and lock on all doors to dorms. I can not fault PMB nor speak highly enough. I would definitely stay there again when next in town.

5*, had a great time

This place was one of my favourite hostels so far and definitely the cleanest. Everybody including staff were so nice and welcoming and I was included from the start. The hostel really felt like a home and I’ll 100% be returning here in the new year.
