A peaceful oasis

We had a great stay! Vic and Amanda are great hosts. We had some niggles with the apartment but they helped us much as possible. It was clean and tidy and comfortable despite some construction work. Plus a 3 minute walk to the beach. A great oasis in the chaos of Surfer’s.

Roomy apartment in Central Surfers

The apartment complex was dated but this is what we expected, and being right in the centre of Surfers, it was noisy at night, but this settled down around 11pm. On the plus side, the apartment was very roomy and had everything we needed for our stay. Amanda, the manager was friendly and helpful and obliging with regards to the parking of our car.

TOO MANY ANIMALS --PETS ---

The at St. Tropez apartments are not bad at all, however the problem is not only the people are smoking constantly all days and all over nights.
We had noticed there are all kind of dogs and cats living in the apartments of some of the guest and residents in there.
This has led to a strong smell of dog droppings and awful cats urine smell in the apartment’s balconies and sewage areas, also most of the carpets had a pet’s urines smell; which really affected our holydays living.
This is clearly a breach of the resort hotel residency agreement and ‘No Pet’s policy here at St. Tropez, as I’m reading in the website. And I am disappointed all this allowed happening.
As for the health and safety of our children we had decided to move to a different resort away from the trouble and smell of the pets and flies.

Hi Gina,
Interestingly we can not find your booking, it must have been in another name.
We have 3 dogs and 1 cat living here who belong to owner residents
At no time have we ever had an animal stay in a holiday apartment
Residents and guests are allowed to smoke on their balconies only and the common outside areas
As we are onsite managers we live here and are available 24/7 to resolve any of our guests issues, so we are surprised and disappointed to receive these comments after you have departed

Great place to stay

We stayed at St Tropez apartments for 5 nights. The price was great and so was the location. The apartment itself was spacious and the staff friendly were lovely. I would definitely recommend this place to stay and I will be booking again on our next trip to oz.

Second visit with kids

Stayed here 8 years ago and glad to be back. Pool is clean, grounds kept well and staff happy and helpful. Really close to the beach, trams and busses. Easy to travel to the theme parks from here. This is in the heart of the busy area but there's a nice vibe on the street with outside dining and the police station next door with regular foot patrols by friendly officers. There is some late music from the street but not every night and not all night. This time we had two balconies that overlooked the main street. Coles is a short walk away. Definitely good value for money. I stayed with a 5yo, 13yo and 15yo. TV had Foxtel, each room had ceiling fans and there were three air con units. Kitchen had microwave, toaster, washing machine, tumble dryer, oven and hob. The resort had free wifi, and so did the rest of Surfer's. We hired beach towels for the duration of our stay. Will definitely come back.
