Amazing stay at South Pacific Plaza The apartment was super clean and had everything that we needed. We were on the corner of the mall with the Oasis shopping centre extra close. There were lots of restaurants at our doorstep. We had a balcony looking directly to the beach. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it. Hopefully we can get back to Broadbeach sometime and would definitely stay there again

Very disappointing stay.

We’ve been coming to this building for over twelve years and noise has been a problem in the past but nothing on the level that we experienced this year. Please be aware these units all have separate title and the situation is very vulnerable to exactly the sort of scenario we experienced due to the relative autonomy of other property rights holders in the complex. If they want to do renovations they can and do without notification to guests who will be disturbed by the noise. We booked months in advance, paid over $6,000 and on our first full day experienced unbearable noise from jack hammers and power drills working overhead in the unit directly above us. This lasted for two days and then we were informed it was only for the first week. The next three days were relatively quiet but the jack hammers started again the following Monday. We moved out next morning, an inconvenience at best. Owners are quite within their rights to do this it seems but you need to check this out. We had not been informed and would never have paid all that money over if we’d known. I mean who would? Incredibly disappointed with SPP.

Position was perfect close to everything. Unit a bit dated but clean. Only issue was noise from demolition directly next door. Couldn’t sit on balcony just too noisy

Do not believe the photos for this hotel! My room was nothing like the photos! We stayed on level 8! The room had a very, very old bathroom and gross old kitchen! View was not wide expansive ocean views as advertised! There is a hotel being demolished next door, which our room looked straight into from kitchen! We had to close the shutters so we didn’t have the construction workers on the same level as us next door looking into the kitchen/ dining area! Walls of the room were disgusting! Curtain falling down! It was one star! Really disappointed when I planned a special weekend in a modern room with sweeping ocean views as per advertised! This a big con and a case of false advertising!

Can't be helped, but the consistent noise from the construction at the building next door meant that the relaxing vibe of the Gold Coast was not experienced at all. If I had known this I would have stayed elsewhere but hopefully when I come back it will completed
