Super pub de campagne

C'est un super pub de campagne dans une ville qui se meurt lentement. chaleureuse et accueillante publican chaleureuse qui a fait des pieds et des mains pour nous satisfaire. Les repas et les boissons sont très abordables. Les repas sont servis rapidement et était excellent à tous les cinq d'entre nous avons apprécié nos repas. Un pub qui serait qui vaut le coup d'y séjourner pour un week-end ou un séjour d'un week-end.

Bon rapport qualité/prix

Nous avons besoin d'un séjour d'une nuit, nous avons trouvé le personnel très accueillant. La chambre était vieux et basique mais tout ce dont nous avions besoin avec tarif très raisonnable qui inclus un petit déjeuner continental dans la salle à manger. Recommandé pour un séjour d'une nuit.

Country Charm At Its Best

We stayed here for just over a week. A lovely country pub with accommodation and a dining room. The owners & staff treated us like friends, happily chatted about everything. Our room (queen size) was clean, small bar fridge in the room & toiletries. The kettle was in the self-serve breakfast room which was included in the low rate, consisting tea/coffee etc and toast, condiments & cereal. The restaurant served reasonably priced meals for dinner, lunch was offered on weekends (we were elsewhere). Get in early for the Sunday night pizza - its very popular. It is a bit noisier than some of the more modern places out there, it is on the main highway into Adelaide. Also be aware that due to the location, you might do a lot of driving to get to places. I will definitely stay again!

The Serial Killer Hotel!

My husband nick-named this hotel, the 'Serial Killer Hotel'! Was a shocking stay! Room had raw timber floors that were filthy. The smallest bed that my husband did not fit into! No fridge and as we were road tripping, there was nowhere to keep our supplies in over night and re-freeze our icepacks. The whole place was filthy, dusty and cobwebs in the corners. The smoke detector was just hanging wires from the roof! Make matters worse, people were thumping in and out of the accommodation from 5am and on timber floors, woke up up constantly. No remote control for the TV so absolutely nothing to do and not even able to watch the footy on the TV. Staff were not very helpful at all when we asked for a remote to operate the TV. Everything just seemed like too much effort. Ultimately I would give this place 0 stars if I could, it was just awful!
People recommended the food at the hotel, sadly, it took 1hr and 15 minutes to get 2 burgers that really were very ordinary and nothing special. My chicken burger had been deep fried within an inch of its life and was like eating a timber plank between two pieces of bread. Not good at all!

Great meals and free camping. Just fabulous.

We stayed free for 2 nights in our caravan, which we parked on the grass area behind the hotel. The only cost? A delicious meal in the hotel, with fresh from the garden veggies and everything cooked to perfection. The staff are also really lovely. Absolutely recommend even if just driving through.
