Aruba as a family.
Great location, very friendly and willing staff. Comfortable rooms. Very good beach and restaurant area.

MVC Eagle beach is the place to be.
In the description of the hotel it looks so glamorous. But really, you come out deceived.
The pool would not look out of place in most Dutch gardens of a terraced house. It's 60 cm deep and not much longer than 3 meters and 2 meters wide? Breakfast is the same every day, you have no choice. There is nothing else to do and it is extinct all day.

Dated motel across from Eagle beach
The hotel is a two story "motel" right across from Eagle beach. The rooms are small. When we first checked in, the strong smell of cheap cleaning products was overwhelming. We had to open all windows and doors. Since that did not help, I found a cleaning lady and asked her to please just mop the floor with plain water. That helped. The toilet flush needed to be pressed for a few seconds otherwise the flush was not fully completed. Also, the shower water kept going from warm to cold several times during a shower.
The bath towels were tidy white but they had a musty smell, same with the linen. The washcloths were not tidy white, they were almost beige from the continued used. There is a small fridge inside the unit. I found a small roach crawling on the bathroom sink in the morning. The pool was tiny, is a pool to sit and cool off, not to swim. There are palapas and beach chairs available for free across the street
The breakfast consists of a tray with pre determined items. No changes. No options. So if you have any dietary restrictions. Tough luck. Orange juice muffin croissants ham cheese white toast fruit bowl.
Overall, not a great value. Not a place I would return. Also if you get a room on the second floor, there is no elevator, just a Helix type metal stairway, so if you have mobility issues, that might be a problem. Free parking in the back.

If you want to be close to Eagle beach this is the place for you. Its clean and cozy and the staff are extremely nice and helpful. Loved my stay here for the location and price. The free breakfast was simple but delicious. I ordered lunch here most days the chicken ceasar salad was good and reasonably priced. Would definitely stay here again!

This accommodation did not make us feel at home. Staff are closed and reluctant. Maybe a language barrier? They talk to Spanish-speaking people like they've known each other for years. In the morning a tray with breakfast is served for 2 people, but 2 weeks the same food... come on! No service and very closed. We have had to tell people regularly how it works.. just sit down and someone will come out of the kitchen. The pool turns out to be a children's pool of 2x3m and 60cm deep. On the site there are cozy photos where you can also dine, very misleading. It's a crazy atmosphere. Very strange that you have to find your entertainment in other hotels to have a good time. In short, if you just need a bed and a beach you are good here. Do bring earplugs for the sound of the fridge and air conditioning at night if you are sensitive to this..
