Very good mattress
very good location to go to the Italian hospital and near the eleven and street avellaneda (flowers). near to the moveistar sand mattress excellent and very good attention.

Interesting (but good) experience!
Booked this hotel because, like all travelers, I wanted an inexpensive private room to enjoy Buenos Aires.
THE STAFF WAS EXTREMELY NICE AND VERY HELPFUL!!!!!!!!!
I had first booked this hotel for 2 nights unsure of what it would be like. The room they gave me was huge. 15 foot ceilings and there was a set of bunk beds and another full size bed in my room. 4 people could have easily slept there with plenty of space to move around. It even had a small balcony overlooking the street.
The building was a little old, but so are most of the buildings in the surrounding area so nothing wrong with that. I kinda felt like I was in a Jason Bourne movie :)
Breakfast was pretty standard from what I've experienced in hostels in Argentina. Bread, coffee, water and jams. Wish there was real milk to go with that coffee.
My only complaint is not the hotel's fault. The bathroom had a small design flaw. It was small, which is ok, but the door to the bathroom opened inwards so it made it a little difficult to use and made it feel even smaller. If they redo the door so it opens outwards or had a sliding door, that would be a simple fix that would greatly improve that small space.
Here's where it gets interesting...
I was satisfied with the room so I booked 3 more nights. When I woke for breakfast and finished eating, they very politely suggested that I should leave the hotel and go to Downtown Mate Hostel where the exact same type of accommodation would be provided.
I was hesitant; however, once the staff assured me that both hotels had the same owner, I decided to take the leap of faith. I immediately packed my bags and walked 2 miles to the other location.
GREATEST SUGGESTION EVER!
Not only did I get to explore the area around Mitre Suites, but I also got to stay at their other location. It was like getting 2 hotels for the price of one. The ability to see and experience different neighborhoods was well worth the effort and the walk gave me a better understanding of my surroundings.
Furthermore, the staff is extremely intelligent and were very attuned to an individual's needs. Even though I was already having a pleasant stay, they knew I would probably like the other location more. They were right!
The location around Mitre Suites was still great. Lots of shops and restaurants. Coming from Los Angeles, I love to watch films and one of the best things about Mitre Suites is that it is walking distance from a Cinemark theatre so I was able to see Tomorrowland and observe and enjoy how another culture experiences a film from America.
This hotel seems to be more for locals, but they understood my needs without me even telling them and put me in the right place.
I do not get that kind of customer service and foresight from expensive hotels back in America.

Cheap but the stairs carpet
For the price as well as the personal the hotel is a good option, but there are a couple of things that will make me avoid this hotel next time and for which I will no recommend it to anybody else 1. There is a kind of carpet in the main acces stairs that seems to be picked up from a garbage can. It seems to originally be of a cream color but at the present time it is completely dirty with large black spots. The worst part is that it is the first thing that you see when going up to the rooms. 2. There is no way to make a phone call, neither local nor long distance or to a cell phone, even when it is a collect cal or if you offer to pay for it, because according to the emplyees the hotel telephone is blocked to make outside calls. In a hotel the telephone service is absolutely necesary.

Mean and unwelcoming
It is a cheap hotel but the administration strives for money too much. Some people of the staff are friendly but watch out when Manuel (aka Manu, el encargado) or the owners show up: they only want you to pay and remind you to do so every second... I felt completely surveilled by Manu which makes him somehow rude. That situation made me feel uneasy somehow. The breakfast is not very higienic according to basic standards. Not recommended. I suggest this hotel to care more about customers.

only the price
Actually this hostel is not in or near to the city center.It is located in a sleepy residential area and needs to go center by taxi around 30-40 minutes or If, you can walk to metro station around 30 minutes by getting two lines.Ensuite-rooms, a bed,table and chair,ceiling fan and an Tv (If you are lucky it will work) inside.Breakfast is very basic as you can imagine.But the positive point you can find a tea or coffee so,you can get your foods nearest market.Though in B.A. accomodation is very expensive and overpriced.This is a one of the few budget place.Management and reservation desk is not friendly and not speaking English,only Marcel (the partner etc.) can speak.In my opinion, they are thinking that the people will escape and trying to get all amount for your staying while you are entering.I will offer them relax, they are tourist coming far from to enjoy and not need or looking to your wallet.Also hostelbookers etc. getting their credit card and every details. If, they ecape, the compay already gets every documents no need to make yourself and your guest stress.Next time I will try to find an nearest one to the center.
