HOTEL NON EXISTENT DO NOT BOOK!

I had 3 double rooms booked for my stay between 21st September to 24th September. On arrival at the hotel I was told that this hotel is fully closed. I was not very happy with that outcome because I was travelling with small babies and wasn’t ideal for me when I found out that the hotel is non existent. I would like to make a complaint that this hotel should be taken down from booking.com website and customers who have made bookings for this hotel should be made aware that it’s closed and should be given a thumbs up before their travel from wherever they booked from.

just ok

do note that this hotel does not have connecting room.our kids were separated to another room,although on the same floor,has caused a bit of hassle for us .rooms were small,we got the room at the newer block.quad room has barely enough space to move around.location wise,is uphill.5 minutes walk to reach the compound of masjidil haram,maybe another 10 minutes to reach kaabah.average stay,staff was unwilling to attend to our needs,almost avoiding us everytime.we checked out a day earlier,despite having paid in full.no refund was granted,hotel policy i guess.next time i will stay at the one of the hotels in the clock tower.spend a bit more,but save the trouble of walking ,and time.

You can stay

Not Bad to use it through Umrah, clean, no need more than this, its not a hotel as we know, friendly staff, good breakfast not reach, but as you need in umrah only to sleep in clean bed and use a clean bathroom

Value for Money, Within close proximity to Masjid Al-Haram

Stayed 2 days (1night) at Al Thuria. I was actually surprised when we got to the lobby; it looked good for the price we paid. The hotel is quite affordable and for the proximity to the haram (+/- 400m), it's worth it. The only slag about the hotel is that you have to walk up a very steep road which assures you'll have a good sweat by the time you get to the hotel.
The breakfast is very basic, not much of a variety. For the morning I was there they had Foul (arabic beans), potato hash crisps, processed sausage, two types of breads and the usual juice, water and coffees.
What I like about this hotel is in the lobby they have a coffee/cappuccino machine; you could drink as much as you want. This is a thing that stands out most because a lot of 4-5 star hotels don't offer this.
Rooms are clean and well maintained. Beds weren't that wide and long as you'd expect at a leading brand hotel, it's soft, suffice and does its job to give you sleep.
Bathroom isn't big. It contains the necessary elements; shampoo, soap, and towels are provided.
Overall, I would stay here again because there prices are quite reasonable during peak seasons compared to other hotels. It's difficult to find hotels of this calibre to be clean and of such a high standard.

يتميز بموقعه القريب من الحرم- يوجد ماكينه للمشروبات الساخنه فى الرسيبشن-المصاعد متوفره وغير مزدحمه-الغرف صغيره جدا -الاسره صغيره - الحمام صغير -لا يوجد غلايه كهربائيه بالغرفة -فندق متواضع جيد فى السعر للاقامه ليله واحده لقربه من الحرم
