Small, cozy hotel
The breakfast room, with the lovingly arranged buffet, is divided into different levels. Fresh fruit, bread, rolls, eggs, sausage etc, all very delicious.
Sensitive people should use Ohropax, the hotel is located at a road junction where there is currently a lot of traffic.

Excellent breakfast, small bathroom
Friendly staff, comfy beds, small bathrooms (but with excellent flood showers), free wifi. Perhaps most unusual in this price category is the excellent coffee for breakfast - something many peers in the region fail on but Für Dich has a top class machine - my favourite was mixing Milchkaffee with Espresso.
Fairly close (5 min walk) to the main harbour and right next to an ice cream parlour .... Ther are better locations in town but this is fine.
Worth repeating: the bathroom is pokey but the breakfast is very good, particularly the coffee. If that goes with your priorities this is Für Dich if bathroom space beats breakfast in your priorities stay elsewhere.
Waren is one of the most touristy places in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, water activity and cycling the top pursuits, but there's more to keep you amused from an outdoor summer musical to plenty of pubs and restaurants. Underpublicised.

Super freundlich!
Ich hatte einen Fruchtbecher mit Softeis für 6,50€, ich konnte verschiedene Früchte mischen und hatte daher frische Erdbeeren und dazu Himbeeren, Kirschen und Heidelbeeren aus dem Glas. Besonders die Heidelbeeren waren super. Beim softeis konnte ich zwischen Vanille-Schoko und Vanille-Himbeere wählen und habe mich für Vanille-Himbeere entschieden, sehr cremig und lecker. Auch die Sahne war gut, dazu gab es noch etwas Sauce und auf meinen Wunsch ein bisschen Krokant. Die Bedienung (Asiatin) war sehr, sehr freundlich, dies ist wirklich selten und erstellte mir meinen Eisbecher komplett nach Wunsch ohne extra Aufpreis. Danke, ich komme wieder!
Absolute Empfehlung, auch wenn das Kugeleis mit Sicherheit aus Fertigmischungen ist und auch das softeis mit einem fertig Mix hergestellt wird. Daher auch keine fünf Sterne.
Nur Selbstbedienung, aber einige Tische unter der Markise, wo man sein Eis essen kann.
