Conveniently located family run hotel

A positive experience in what it seems to be a family-run hotel conveniently located at just 10 minutes walk from the town center.
Comfortable beds, spacious room and welcoming/friendly personnel.
Not raising to 5 stars for a couple of reasons: the TV in the bedroom was not working (no channels shown) and in the breakfast room - despite the good selection - there were not hot options. No warm milk or tea, no toaster.

Excellent service

I stayed at the Parkhotel very recently with my husband and son for a 2 night stay to visit family in Germany. The Parkhotel was brilliant. The rooms we had were large and spacious (2 adjoining rooms that form room 20). We had a comfortable bed and sofa bed and the shower room was extremely large with a big wet room area. It was also spotlessly clean. However what made the visit so special was the helpfulness of the owner, Heike Breitkopf. She was very professional and friendly (even when we arrived at nearly 3 am in the morning due to bad flight delays). The larger extended family ended up coming for breakfast on the day we were leaving and despite being 12 people in total the breakfast was superb. The breakfast was constantly refreshed and there was a wonderful selection of breads, cold meats, cheeses, salmon as well as fresh fruits, compotes, yoghurts, juices etc. I should mention that the coffee they served was also excellent! It's a wonderful hotel to stay at and an easy walk into the town. Next time we visit the family we will definitely stay at the Parkhotel Stadthagen and I would thoroughly recommend the hotel to other travellers.

Friendly welcoming hotel

The hotel was welcoming, clean with friendly staff. The rooms were very clean, the beds comfortable and the breakfast was delicious (eggs cooked your way — tasty!). The room was ever so quiet and woke feeling very rested. The owner even offered to drive us to where we were going which was a lovely touch to a wonderful stay. The old town is a 5 —7 min walk away with the township architecture stunning as it was not damaged from war.
Thank you Park Hotel for the lovely stay. We hope to visit again some time soon.

Recommend!

Very safe, calm, clean and comfortable place. Good place to stay for those who goes to Hanover Messe. It is only around 50 km and not a big problems with traffic. Hospitable and friendly hosts! May feel like home! Believe that it is not our last visit.

Just perfect

I had a very pleasant stay at Park hotel , clean rooms , nice bathroom , excellent breakfast , satellite tv ,and the owner , Heike , is very helpfull and did more than she should to make my stay easier . Thx Heike .
