Special flair in the middle of the old town

Our one-room apartment was in the middle of the old town, about ten minutes' walk from the train station and hidden beneath the in-house café, including a fully equipped kitchen, bathtub and free drugstore items. Our room had space for three guests. The garden access to the sauna was also a brilliant idea! Thanks to the friendly hotel and café girls, we were able to check in at twelve o'clock. The espresso macchiato from the clever barista machine tasted fantastic.
With our own house key, we had free access to the building at all times. Even though the floor creaked with every movement, it absolutely deserved its special flair! Since the café was open until 6 p.m. during the day and the access to the toilets goes past the room, it was sometimes a bit noisy due to the guests. Nevertheless, everything was to our complete satisfaction.

Unfortunately overrated, check in confusing, apartment unfortunately in need of renovation: Paint bursts from the wall, no view - rather basement apartment, cheap spruce furniture, no closet, dusty table - too expensive for the offer , musty smell, look in the bathroom : devastating: absolutely in need of renovation!

Very cozy apartment

I spent 3 days with my sprightly parents, who are over 80 years old, in apartment 3. The apartment is a quaint, very lovingly and tastefully renovated apartment, we felt very comfortable here. The facilities were good, we made our own breakfast. However, it could be a bit tight if 6 people (there are 6 sleeping places) actually want to sit at the table. The stairs (especially those in the apartment) are steep, so perhaps not ideal for small children and seniors. A non-slip mat or something similar would be a great addition in the shower.
The café is also worth a visit, the service staff very courteous and friendly.
A very cozy apartment for an unforgettable stay in beautiful Passau.

Individual B&B with historical flair

A successful combination of a lovingly restored historic building, tasteful antique furnishings and modern functional accents. No run-of-the-mill standard rooms, but individually furnished rooms with a touch of antiques. Perfect central location, optional breakfast buffet with many freshly prepared dishes highly recommended.

Individual at a fair price

This was my second time staying at the Pension Hornsteiner, which is also a nice café, for two nights. The central but quiet location, the friendly service, the pleasant breakfast without a lot of frills in the beautifully decorated café, the individual, simple rooms and the price are great. Check in and check out online. Be careful if you have a lot of luggage: the steps are steep!
