Just Awful, Not Germany and a MarriNOT
We rushed out the door to make dinner and did not realize how thoroughly disgusting and unclean our rooms were. The photos I attached do not even begin to cover it.
Among the issues were various filth and hair throughout the room and carpeting. Various disgusting stains. NAILS left over for my previous female guest. Stickiness. Plus, beat up ragged floors.
They tried to remedy the issue, but it’s so offputting nothing really fixes this.
To add to the fun, the toilets don’t flush very well and should you perform a number 2 it will require 7 to 10 flushes. The water pressure in the shower is also a joke, rather a trickle.
Breakfast is also comprised of rather low quality ingredients and disgusting coffee. Most of the staff are quite cranky as well and are more than happy to bump into you rather than to give away as you proceed to the buffet. Clearly, they’ve never heard of guest right away!
This brand is inconsistent with Germany and any Marriott I’ve ever been to in the thousands of nights I’ve spent with them.

Extremely rigid and disappointing customer service.
My reservation was automatically cancelled after the final scheduled payment could not be collected because sufficient funds were not available on the card at that specific moment. I did not voluntarily cancel the stay. Approximately €800 had already been successfully paid and remained non-refundable.
While we were still in Munich and genuinely wanted to stay at the hotel, I proposed several alternatives: making a new reservation at the current price and applying all or part of the €800 already paid, deducting the first night, allowing us to stay for fewer nights, or finding any other mutually acceptable solution.
Every proposal was rejected, without the hotel offering a single alternative. Their only response was that the original rate was non-refundable and that no exception could be made.
I understand the contractual conditions. However, keeping approximately €800 after an automatic cancellation while refusing every practical solution—even one that would have brought the hotel paying guests and additional revenue—shows an extreme lack of flexibility and customer care.
This experience left me with the clear impression that retaining the money and maximizing profit mattered more to this property than maintaining a fair relationship with a customer who was still willing to stay and pay.
Technically within the rules, perhaps, but far below the standard I expected from Marriott. Based on this experience, I would not book this property again.

Good service
Parking easily in the basement, however minus that it is public parking why you as a guest pay the same 24-hour rate. However, there was good space and charging options for electric cars.
Rooms were good and there was little noise from the surrounding rooms.
