City break. Good location near the u bahn to travel around the city but also walkable to some of Munich’s renown locations.

Hotel for Tech Savvy Travelers
Had an excellent 3 night stay. I reserved a “roomy” accommodation and despite it being a midsize room, it was very compact even for a solo like me. It was very modern, clean and sunny which made up for the small size. The shower was a huge walk in with great pressure and plenty of towels. There’s an iPad in the room to provide information and communicate with reception. The breakfast was awesome with many hot, cold and vegan selections. It was $21/day and included in my rate. The hotel doesn’t have a conventional front desk: just one person with a laptop. If you complete your registration on line, you can get an electronic key without even stopping at reception.To be honest, the person who gave me my key wasn’t particularly helpful: didn’t explain anything about breakfast, where the elevator is, etc. I met one other person at reception the next day. She answered my question but didn’t come across as friendly: seemed more engrossed in her laptop. I don’t think there is much of a dinner menu, just a bar and snacks, but there are many restaurants in walking distance as close as 2 doors down. This is definitely a do it yourself type hotel: no one to help with bags or concierge. No gym and basic bathroom amenities. I actually felt like I was in an apartment building. This suited me fine but may not be for everyone. I’d definitely stay again.

Beautiful and very central
Nice super-central city hotel! A refrigerator would be useful because in summer one would like to cool down something from time to time!
Parking is a 2-minute walk away, €35/night.

A good value
Location was great! We were just a couple of minutes walking from an underground and tram stop, which we used nearly every day. It is on a pedestrian-only street with shopping and restaurants. Also just a short walk to Marienplatz. The room itself was clean but tight for 2 people, each having their own suitcase. We got bottles of water in the room each day, but there was no coffee machine or kettle.
