Good choice for the opera and coming by train
A high floor room gave us a bit of skyline view with church steeples, over other buildings and courtyard.
Watch out for where your room might be, because a lot did have an internal courtyard outlook.
Location very practical. Walk from the main station, into the sights of the town, o the opera house for an evening performance and a bit longer to Thomas Church for church on Sunday morning (Bach!).
There were queues at times for reception attention. However, when that resulted in me forgetting my wet umbrella that I had opened while waiting for my left luggage, the staff promptly sent it on to me.
Watch out for where your room might be, because a lot did have an internal courtyard outlook.

Great clean hotel in a good location, very close to a market platz, public transportation, shopping and restaurants, great beds, clean room, AC, and good parking.

Wonderful Hotel with Outstanding Pet-Friendly Service
We had a fantastic stay at Capri Fraser Leipzig and would definitely come back. We made our reservation only 45 minutes before arriving, and even though we were traveling with our dog, everything was prepared incredibly quickly. When we entered the room, they had already provided dog treats and two dog bowls, which was such a thoughtful touch.
Check-in was fast and smooth, making for a stress-free arrival. The location is excellent—right in the city center and within walking distance of the central station, so you can easily explore Leipzig on foot. If you’re traveling with a dog, it’s even better because there’s a park right next to the hotel.
The room was spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean. Our favorite feature was the small kitchenette, which is incredibly practical, especially when traveling with children or pets. During the extremely hot days of our stay, the air conditioning worked perfectly and was surprisingly quiet, making the room very comfortable.
Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations with its excellent service, thoughtful pet-friendly amenities, and great location. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Serious Knee Injury, More Than a Month's Notice, No Exception
I booked a non-refundable reservation at this hotel through Expedia in connection with a sporting competition in Leipzig.
Unfortunately, before my trip I suffered a significant knee injury that made travel and participation in the event impossible. I contacted Expedia and then reached out to the hotel directly more than one month before my scheduled stay. I explained the circumstances and offered to provide medical documentation from my physicians if requested.
The hotel chose to strictly enforce the non-refundable policy and declined to make any exception or accommodation despite the medical circumstances and the advance notice provided.
I understand that policies exist for a reason and that the hotel had the contractual right to deny my request. However, I was disappointed by the lack of flexibility and compassion in a situation involving a documented injury that was completely outside of my control.
Future guests should be aware that even in the event of a serious medical issue and more than a month's notice, the hotel may not make any exception to its cancellation policy.

Staff was very pleasant and helpful. They kindly gave me a room at the back because of concerts on the street. Studio was sparkling clean and amenities were as advertised. The gym is very sparse. Didn’t have any free weights. Otherwise a wonderful stay. Highly recommend
