arrived after our check in time walked in to no staff but keys were laying on the counter and we just took one for a room. Felt safe coming back later that night with the keyless entry system. Room was fine, clean and comfortable bed. Bathroom was typical small European with shower corner. Breakfast was good, asked for fried eggs and received. Upon checkout staff didn't ask about stay just took our keys.

a beautiful hotel in the middle of nowhere....nice, quiet...fields on 1 side, forest like on the other.. A very relaxing stay. Breakfast was top notch

Great quality consistent over many years

The hotel is beautifully located with views of forest and meadow with deer passing by occasionally. In good weather you can stay on the large terrace. The kitchen is excellent!
Over the past 15 years, we have been in the lantern for meetings and company celebrations, booked overnight stays for employees and friends there and often ate there. Everyone was always very satisfied and enthusiastic.

Completely satisfied

We stayed for two nights at the Landhotel Windlicht and felt very comfortable right away. The reception was very warm and friendly and the nicely decorated balcony room overlooking the adjacent forest promised peace and relaxation.
Dinner at the hotel exceeded all expectations: The service was very friendly and personal. Here you can find a bread basket in advance as well as the rare "greeting from the kitchen". Excellent were the starters, main courses and dessert. Stylish is the fact that one drink menu, one menu and one dessert menu are served each.
The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired.
This short stay we enjoyed very much and will definitely come back here. Thanks to the whole team.
