Good hotel with swimming pool and parking - but unfortunately in the room no fridge

The hotel is easily accessible from the motorway and from there you can also get to Munich relatively easily. There is a swimming pool in the hotel. However, the route is usually quite time-consuming and annoying with traffic jams. There are two bus stops in front of the hotel. Under construction is a Greek restaurant. The restaurant is closed on Wednesdays. There are no refrigerators in the rooms. So you can't put food or drinks in the rooms. This is a shortcoming, as you can buy refrigerators for as little as 150€. On the ground floor there is a chilled beverage vending machine. You can buy e.g. Coke 0,5 L for 3€. The rooms facing the street are quite noisy as the road is busy. However, there are balconies after the street (without deckchair) and only windows after the back. The volume of the room phones is extreme. Unfortunately, you can't adjust neither sound nor volume. The buffet is adequately stocked. On Sundays there is no salmon and the boiled eggs are unfortunately cut open and without shell, which is abundantly unhygienic and should be changed. Otherwise, scrambled eggs.

Solid hotel with a feel-good atmosphere

We spent four days at the Hotel Mayer and were completely satisfied. We were particularly enthusiastic about the large pool – every morning before breakfast we could swim a lap, which was just wonderful.
The breakfast was pleasant and provided ample space for all guests. The dining room radiated a calm, relaxed atmosphere, and nothing was missing. The hotel is also ideal for business travelers, as breakfast is served from 6:30 a.m. – a little later on weekends. Especially practical: The 24-hour front desk was staffed by friendly staff.
Our room was spacious, with ample storage space, and room service provided cleanliness. Only the bathroom was a bit tightly cut in the area of the toilet, but still perfectly fine and sparkling clean. The beds were comfortable.
We found the many parking spaces in front of and behind the house on the large yard particularly pleasant – a place was available at any time of the day.
We would definitely come back!

A very nice step

We stayed 2 nights to make a step. If we had to return, it would be without hesitation: friendly staff, parking, breakfast buffet, very good soundproofing, quiet Inn and especially a swimming pool with wide hours.
Only downside: there were no shutters or air conditioning
And at the restaurant you have to drink bottled water

A solid hotel

I was in Germering on business and my colleague booked the Hotel Mayer for us. We checked in at around 9 p.m. and were given a friendly welcome. The hotel is clean and solid. The room was clean and in order. The breakfast was very extensive and everything was tasty. All in all it is a good but not a very good hotel; so I can only give it 3/5.

Dated but nice

Stayed here for two nights during our business trip in Munich. Here are the positives and negatives:
+ clean big rooms
+ good breakfast with pretzel :)
+ wifi in the rooms, but it is not secured
+ nice staff
+ pool (unfortunately didn't have time to use it)
+ Greek restaurant
- the rooms a bit dated, not really my style
- s train is a bit too far away, 15 mins by walking
Overall I would recommend this hotel for a shorter stay.
