Hotel Herrens – impresses with charm
No, you have to visit this hotel if you are looking for something different. The hotel is in an old building from the Prussian era. As soon as you arrive (parking right next to the house), you can see this great restored old building.
When you enter, you immediately notice that there is a special charm of history here. The hotel has a total of 20 rooms of different sizes and furnishings. There is no elevator here, but a large staircase.
On both stays we had room 28 on the first floor, at the end of the corridor. You get to the room through an anteroom/cloakroom (through an extra door). The room is divided into the sleeping area with a bed and a bay window with a large leather couch, a small desk with a small refrigerator and a coffee maker. Behind it is the bathroom.
Everything is in good to very good condition and clean. The breakfast offered is of normal standard. The hotel staff is nice and always helpful.
Conclusion: If we come back to Emden, we will stay at this hotel again.

Für einen Kurztrip genau das richtige Hotel
Das Zimmer war geschmackvoll eingerichtet und das Bad war neu saniert.

Für drei Nächte in Ordnung
Unser Zimmer war in Ordnung, es gab eine Minibar mit zwei gekühlten Getränken (nicht kostenlos), zwei Flaschen Wasser standen im Zimmer, wohl auch nicht kostenfrei.
Der Safe war nicht mit einem Code zu schließen, so bekam ich am nächsten Tag einen Schlüssel dazu. Das Frühstück war ausreichend, aber ohne frisches Obst, nichts Originelles.
WLAN im Hotel war praktisch nicht vorhanden. Trotz Einwählen mit dem Passwort bekam ich nie eine Internetverbindung.
Parkplatz vor dem Haus war kostenlos.

Schönes Hotel
Einziger Nachteil, man kann die Rechnung für das Essen im Restaurant nicht auf das Zimmer schreiben lassen.
Vielleicht ändert es sich noch.
Das Hotel Haus Heerens liegt ideal für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Kurzer Fußweg zur Innenstadt.
