My worst hotel experience ever Do not book if you value your safety!

Serious Security Issue with unfaithful manager

I booked two nights at this hotel (Sept 16–18, 2025) but had to leave early after a terrifying incident. At around 2:30 AM, an unknown person violently banged on my door and shouted loudly. I felt extremely unsafe and could not sleep the rest of the night.
The next morning I learned from another guest that they had experienced a similar incident the night before. When I reported this to the hotel manager, he initially denied everything until another guest confirmed my story. The manager even complaint that i invented this story and i´m a difficult customer. Of course the whole time, he didn´t even say a word of Sorry.
I checked out early and i have to pay other hotel extra fee because I did not feel safe staying there.
Travelers should be warned: this hotel does not guarantee basic safety at night. This hotel has no night staff, no security, and no protection for guests. The manager is good at saying that the guest is the one causing trouble.

Extremely Poor Hygiene and Unsafe Conditions – Avoid This Hotel

I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but our experience at this hotel was unacceptable. We checked in on 19 October and had to leave due to the shocking condition of the room.
The issues were severe: mold in the bathroom, visible blood stains on the walls and nightstand, broken curtains and lamps, and overall extremely poor cleanliness. The room was absolutely nothing like what was advertised.
This hotel needs a serious update in hygiene, maintenance, and overall standards. Until then, I cannot recommend it to anyone.

An average place

A little negative about cleanliness. It is a little difficult to sleep at night because it is a very noisy place. But the employees are very nice. They are helpful and sympathetic. Check-in and check-out were faster than I expected.
The hotel's location is very good. old town within walking distance. You can also go to public transportation and train on foot. It is possible to find world flavors in every street. price-benefit hotel.

Hotel???? Not sure

Worst hotel in Germany??
Arrived at the hotel to find the hotel receptionist looking like something from a gangster rap video...and was concerned if I was at the right place. Even that we had prebooked it took over 30 min to check in..
The hotel reception looked like something from a Bosnian war movie..wires hanging out from the ceiling, broken light bulbs...
The "room" ...well...see the photos...
And there is no breakfast even though we were told there was when we booked and it is on the bill...
And you have to share toilet and shower with the others in the hall...
I will never ..ever return.

buyer beware.

I'm not one to complain as you can see from my previous reviews, if there is an issue i like to sort it with the restaurant or hotel on the night and hope it improves their service. The photographs the hotel has provided have to be years old. The entrance hall and stairs is in need of some love and attention, the lobby is clean. But the halls and landings leading into the rooms will send a shiver down your spine. The bedroom wasn't much of an improvement and looked nothing like the rooms on the web. There was a stale smell of smoke in the room and a broken window with duct tape. After a long day at a trade fair this was not what i signed up to. we immediately went downstairs and requested a refund. the staff were less than helpful saying they couldn't do anything and to contact them afterwards (good luck with that). i know its reasonably priced and close to the train but so are many others. i have traveled to Germany every year since 1992 and have never been in a hotel like this.
