Good, very quiet and cheap hotel in Eisenstein

The hotel is deceptive from the outside. Inside it is very large. The rooms are simply but functionally furnished. We were too lazy to look for something else for dinner, so we ate in the hotel restaurant. The food was very good and the price-performance ratio was good.

It is OK.

Mix feeling of the place. We wanted a half board hotel for our ski holiday. After 3 days, we actually did not want to eat in the place any more because of the lack of variety and really quite dull atmosphere. The manager did not like that and charged us for all dinners apart from 1 night even if I gave him 48 hours of notice.
My duvet (not the cover) had blood stains on it....
The shower was small and water pressure quite weak. It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room.
Breakfast was a typical German buffet.
The manager's wife was a complete delight.

Feel-good days in Bay. Eisenstein

On short notice still get a room over the bridge day and we were not disappointed. Spacious, very clean rooms, elevator in the hotel. Directions via Anton Pech Weg 14, here is the hotel parking. Unusual - you take the elevator up to the reception on the third floor. (hillside) From the outside you can't see that the hotel is very spacious in the complex. There are two pool tables in the lobby.
Sauna and small gym also available. Breakfast is very good and plentiful. Overall, a very positive assessment. In the restaurant you can also eat very well. Price/performance is fully good!!!! Absolutely friendly service

A lovely hotel in a superb location.

Overlooking the small town of Bayerisch Eisenstein, the Eisensteiner Hof is close to the railway station, which is in two countries (Germany & Czechia). A warm welcome from the friendly, helpful and charming staff. Generous buffet breakfast and lunch and evening meals served in the adjacent restaurant. Traditional Bavarian and Bohemian cooking. Larger than average rooms with balconies and views over the mountains. A great base for exploring the Bavarian/Bohemina nature park. Although the language changes, the border is just a thin red line on the station platform - how all borders should be!

A Wonderful Winter Stay

My fiancé and I spent a few days here before the Christmas rush and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. The rooms are large and accommodating with a nice shower and small living room area. Each room has a small balcony with a chair and table. The breakfast comes with cold cuts, cheeses, yogurt, granola, tasty coffee, and a few other options. The staff is friendly and speaks English, Czech, and German. The surrounding mountains and woods have very nice hiking trails and there are some very nice national parks nearby as well. I definitely recommend staying here for a very pleasant little get away.
