Our stay at this hotel was unfortunately very disappointing. Unfriendly,Not accommodating, rooms were not .
Our stay at this hotel was unfortunately very disappointing.
Communication in advance was already difficult. On our booking request we had to wait several days for confirmation. Upon our arrival it turned out that the situation on the ground was even more problematic: When we wanted to enter our rooms, they were not cleaned.
In addition, we only learned on site that the hotel rooms are located in a different building than the main house. This was not apparent from the information and plans on the website, which caused additional confusion.
When we claimed the condition of the rooms at reception, we were told that the date had been wrong – although this was clearly in our booking confirmation. We then had to wait about an hour for a cleaner to be called in to clean the rooms.
Also only on site we learned that there is no breakfast buffet at this time, only a breakfast is served at the table. This information had not been communicated either on the website or in advance. Due to the entire situation we finally gave up breakfast altogether.
Especially unpleasant was the communication with the boss of the hotel, which we found very unfriendly and not solution-oriented. As “compensation” we were offered only a hot drink. A further accommodation was rejected. In addition, the Wi-Fi in the rooms was very poor.
Since we could no longer find an alternative place to stay at short notice, we ultimately moved into the rooms anyway. Unfortunately, we even had the impression that the boss made a little fun of the fact that we stayed despite our complaints.
Overall, the stay has annoyed us a lot, especially because of the lack of communication, organization and the little customer-friendly handling.
We would not recommend this place.
