Luxury with sea view – pure relaxation

We had originally booked a studio, but had the new Beach houses shown to us – and were so impressed that we upgraded immediately. The full-length window front opens up spectacular views of the sea and bay, giving the stay a special tranquillity from the start. The house is spacious, furnished to a high standard and offers highlights such as a freestanding bathtub and Jacuzzi. On the large terrace you can watch the fishermen sailing out in the morning and watch seabirds during the day – just wonderfully slowing down.
The staff was always warm, attentive and present without being intrusive. In the evening we returned to a lovingly prepared home every time. Overall, an exceptional stay – a rare mix of peace, comfort and exclusivity. Our first visit to Paternoster, but certainly not the last. Absolutely recommend!

EXCELLENT ACCOMMODATION

Stayed in Studio 4 and can't rate it highly enough. Lovely sea view and the accommodation is so comfortable we didn't want to leave! We were warmly welcomed by Moses and he is an absolute delight and so helpful so a big shout out to him! Breakfast is now included which is delivered to you in a basket at the time you request and is a wonderful selection including fresh pastries and muffins, fruit salad, yogurt, museli and was far more than we could eat! Also the nightly turn down service is another lovely addition and even though it is self catering you feel very well looked after and cared for. Thank you to the La Baleine team who are all very friendly - we will definitely be back!

All we needed for a 3 day recharge in good quality environment with a view.

Had a happy stay in one of the self catering cottages for 3 days . Simple and clean in design .Good quality equipment and very friendly caring staff .
A tasty breakfast served in the morning on the veranda with a great view -and a woodfire braai in the evening if you wanted . Walking distance to the beach and most of restaurants.

10 out of 10 - Absolutely Fantastic

We stayed in Studio 2 at La Baleine a lovely cosy cottage for two with a sea view and two patio/decks very private and quiet and peaceful. We were thrilled when we arrived and were welcomed warmly by Moses so much so we booked an extra night straight away! The cottage was light, bright and modern and everything had been thought through so well it was like home from home but in the very quaint seaside village of Paternoster just across the road from the small Waterfront area with restaurants and shops. The kitchen was so well equipped, the lounge very comfortable with wonderful TV service, bed extremely comfortable and the spacious rain shower absolutely fantastic. The toiletries were exquisite too! This place is so well run and managed we were highly impressed and can't rate it highly enough. We will definitely be back, thank you for a wonderful relaxing stay to the La Baleine team.
