Title: Severe Security Failure & Complete Lack of Accountability – Money Stolen
My stay at Cresta Grande Cape Town was ruined due to a major security incident and poor management response. A significant sum of money was stolen directly from my hotel room.
Key Issues:
Security Lapse: A total failure to safeguard guest rooms and property.
Unsupportive Management: Hotel staff and management took no meaningful action to assist, conduct a proper internal investigation, or resolve the issue.
Lack of Responsibility: There was zero attempt to rectify the situation or provide guest care after a serious theft occurred on their premises.
As an international traveler, feeling safe in your hotel is paramount. Cresta Grande provided neither security nor basic customer care when a crime occurred under their roof. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

The food was delicious, with a good variety of options, and the service from the restaurant staff was friendly and efficient. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in a great location with excellent food and service.
