Un petit havre de paix

Super accueil dans un endroit au bout du monde, dans un cadre exceptionnel. Coucher et lever de soleil top! Piscine, locaux très agréables malgré quelques petits dysfonctionnements. Un bémol il faut sortir en ville pour dîner.

Amazing place

I really enjoyed my stay at Tulbagh Mountain Manor. The host was very welcoming, helpful and friendly. I highly recommend and trust to go back in the future.

We loved our time at Tulbagh Mountain Manor. We came for our 50th Anniversary and it was a beautiful place to rest, sit by the pool, delicious breakfast, and absolutely beautiful location! We felt like family. Mirna was so kind, gave us great recommendations for wine tasting, olive tasting, sparkling wine tasting nearby, and restaurant for dinner. Lovely stay! Thank you Mirna!

Rooms Need Renovation

Yes, the views are beautiful, and this B&B is situated in a tranquil aera. But, we had two rooms both of which are in need of renovation. Breakfast is good although the selection of tea is much less than suggested on the menu. The owner is (almost too) friendly.
Overall, at this state of rooms, this B&B is overpriced.

A great place to relax

This was the third time we have stayed at Tulbagh Mountain Manor and it has now become a fixture on our annual trips to South Africa.
We love the views across the valley and into the surrounding mountains and the walks around the orchards and up into the fynbos. The Manor sits at the head of the valley and provides a quiet and safe location.
Tulbagh is 15 minutes drive down the valley and has a good selection of shops, coffee shops, bakeries and restaurants within the town and on the surrounding wine estates. Personal recommendations: go to the Tarzan Shoes factory shop, Kole & Deeg bakery, the Manley Wine Estate restaurant, and Daphne's at Duikersdrift. For walking, try the waterfall, forestry and eco trails on the other side of the valley.
Mirna is a wonderful host and has helped make our stays as restful as possible.
