Very nice motel. Staff is very friendly and keeping property clean and tidy.
They have A LOT of stuff to keep you and your kids entertained (pool, hot tub, corn hole game, board games, bicycles (not for little kids), huge collection of dvd, cold river right behind the property with tables and chairs on the shore - this are the free stuff! For payment you can do lazy river tubing (25$ per person) (they shuttle you to the town and you float to motel (~40 min).
We didn’t like the breakfast, but I think it is personal preference.

This hotel was fine but noisier than others we’ve been staying in. Could hear people upstairs stomping and couldn’t get a constant fan setting on the HVAC to drown some of the noise out. Standard breakfast. The grounds are nice and you can walk down to the river which is nice. I wish we had traveled down into Winthrop but missed it and were unaware of it entirely because this hotel is on the outskirts. Grocery store is an easy walk to stock up.

Arrived 90 minutes early for their stated 4pm check in time and although our room was 100% ready, not requiring any additional staff time or effort, they insisted on charging me $20 for the early check in time. This was just cheap and very poor customer service!! Will not stay there again or recommend it.

The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. The pool and hot tub were great amenities. You can walk around back and down to the river and sit and relax. We would definitely return.

This place is absolutely DISGUSTING. When we entered the room - you’re hit with a wall of wet sock smell. Then when you’re ready for bed, you realize the smell is from the BED and SHEETS which has been soaked by the hundreds of sweaty hiker body oder. The sheets were still wrinkled which means they didn’t put new sheets as I spotted multiple strains of hair.
