The room and property were very clean and well maintained. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They made it clear that they would work around my schedule. The location is fantastic as well- close to shopping and amenities in Lafayette. I was visiting family, and King’s Inn made my trip comfortable and care-free.

We got what we paid for lol. Room was cheap and beds were clean and very comfortable, however, the smoke alarm was attached to the ceiling on by a wire, there was suspicions of black mold on bathroom ceiling, and the bathroom door was decorated with black electrical tape. We wouldn't have minded it all though if it wasn't for the rude staff member who denied us clean towels later in the night after we sent away housekeeping services that were offered at 8am. Unsure if that's the normal time to offer services but the front desk associate argued that we could only get 1 clean towel. We explained that our room didn't get cleaned (which we weren't upset about because we did send the man maid away) and there were 4 of us staying in the room lol, but she continued to barter only 1 clean towel. We comically ended up with 3 clean towels for 4 people. If management wanted to discuss this further, we were room 202 and stayed over Labor Day Weekend.

Friendly staff, clean room, cold air, and comfy bed. Will be staying again in a couple of months. Convenient location with restaurants close by.

We only stayed because we needed a place to sleep for one night. I'll start with the only good thing (besides the cheap price). The bed appeared to be clean and it was comfortable. Nothing looks like their pictures. Yes, there is a pool - it was filthy and had garbage floating in it. The sofa in the room was old and torn. The ceiling in the bathroom appeared to be falling down. Apparently, this was an ongoing issue given the amount of inept repair work that had been done. The towel rack was only half attached to the wall - an easy fix than no one cared to bother making. The minifridge was encrusted with ice and was cool, but not cold. The entire transaction took place through bullet proof glass with the receptionist shouting from across the locked lobby and me shouting my replies back to her. We were only 2 hours from home and considered completing our drive rather than actually staying, but we were too tired - that's the only reason we actually stayed the night.

The room was clean, nothing fancy but it was a place to sleep for the night. I had to be up early for court and I live 40 minutes away so I stayed there. but I felt mislead because when I booked the room, it was listed that there was free breakfast but I was told by staff that they did not have breakfast. So that’s my complaint, the listing should be changed.
