We had a lovely stay at Pendley Manor and really enjoyed our time there. It was very relaxing from start to finish. The staff were very kind and helpful from the very start of our stay!
The pool was great, and we made good use of the sauna and steam room. The games room and gym were a nice bonus too. We also spent some time in the Shakespeare Bar, which had a lovely atmosphere.
Overall, we had a great stay and would happily come back.

very bad booking
I booked a suite and 1 other room from 22/8/26 to 28/08/26 and paid in full through booking .com. I saw on the confirmation from booking .com that there was 1 person per room in their email and told them there would be 2 persons per room. Pendley Manor has since emailed me saying the other person in each room would be charged £22 per room per day. Very bad I have always booked rooms in my life and never had this charge. Very bad service from Pendley Manor, will not use them again, beware!

We're sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the additional breakfast charge.
Your reservation was made through Booking.com for one guest per room, with breakfast included for the number of guests originally booked. When you amended the booking from one person to two guests per room after it had been confirmed, an additional breakfast charge of £22 per person, per day applied for the extra guest.
This is not an additional hotel fee, but simply the cost of breakfast for the extra person, as the original booking and rate only covered one guest per room. If the reservation had been made for two guests per room from the outset, the rate would have reflected the correct occupancy.
We appreciate that this was not the outcome you were hoping for, but we believe the charges were applied fairly and in line with the booking details and the amendment you requested.

Wonderful
We visited on a Sunday night for our wedding anniversary. We booked the dinner, bed and breakfast package and it as really wonderful.
The room, the spa, the food, the peacocks that wander free but most importantly the staff and service made it an exceptional visit.
Thank you Pendley Manor we will be back.

This is a lovely hotel, maybe needs a little TLC as it’s an old building, but it’s very clean and tidy. The rooms are spacious, the pool is wonderful and the little extra touches a real treat.
The staff are exceptionally friendly and professional I can’t fault the service at all it was first class as was the food.
Loved the peacocks roaming the beautiful garden too!
We went for an anniversary night away and booked dinner bed and breakfast, we’d go back in a heartbeat. Value for money and we’ve been thoroughly spoilt!

Could be better
We ate at Pendley Manor to celebrate our anniversary. Parking was difficult because there was a wedding with 550 guests, but staff did offer to help.
The restaurant room itself was all right but the menu was obviously trying to bridge several markets, for example ,it had 3 different burgers as well as steaks, salmon, chicken. We asked for a bottle of sparkling water(temperatures had been over 32c) and it arrived warm and not very fizzy. We were told they always keep water at "room temperature", not in a fridge,and could only offer ice.
To place our order took at least 20 minutes. The meal itself was ok but not exciting. The table next to ours had to return his steak as it was stone cold .
Would we return again? Probably not - an uninspired menu and some service elements not of the standard to be expected.
