Outstanding service
What stood out most was how naturally she made us feel comfortable. She treated us more like friends than customers she had just met, which made the whole experience feel warm, genuine, and personal.
She also went above and beyond by giving us helpful ideas and suggestions when we were stuck. Her willingness to listen, understand what we needed, and offer thoughtful solutions really made a difference to our experience.
I run my own business, and this is exactly the level of customer support and service that we look out for and aim to provide ourselves. Claire is a fantastic example of how customer service should be, friendly, attentive, genuine, and willing to go the extra mile.
We really appreciated Claire’s excellent service and the positive experience she created for us. She is a real credit to the team, and we would be very happy to be served by her again.

The door was extremely stiff and difficult to open, and the room had a horrible smell as soon as we entered. We opened the window and hoped it would improve, but several hours later the smell was still there. There was also no bedside table on one side of the bed, and the bathroom door wouldn’t close properly.
When I tried to contact reception, I discovered the phone in the room wasn’t even plugged in, so it was completely unusable. My daughter then went to have a bath, only to find there was no plug for the bath. I messaged the hotel but received no response.
When checking out, I explained all of these issues and was simply given an apology. Unfortunately, that didn’t really address the problems we had experienced.
Overall, a very disappointing stay and definitely not somewhere we would return to or recommend.

Restaurant Claire
Food in restaurant was v nice and staff friendly, especially Claire who takes time to talk to people and put them at ease; she’s very patient chatting to the children. Good experience

Hilton Double Tree, Southampton
However the bar staff & waiting staff were absolutely amazing, very polite and helpful. Also delicious food.

10/10 as always
I always receive a warm welcome and often have the pleasure of talking with Celia in Reception who always goes above and beyond with any requests to help. Celia has such a warm personality and is an asset to your hotel. Very efficient and calm with everyone she deals with.
The hotel is in a perfect location as near to motorways to visit other areas but also close to city centre without the hustle and bustle of being too close. The bed is superb and comfy and I have all facilities that need when on a working stay.
