Doggy-friendly with excellent views
Room and en suite well supplied (tea, coffee, sugar, showergel/shampoo, soap etc).
Food for breakfast included a good choice of cereals, bread or toast, jams and yoghurts. Parking free just outside the front door.
Owner was very helpful.
This is a good place to stay for a short break with the beach just across the road

A unique and very positive stay.
It is worth mentioning that this is not a conventional hotel and certainly not a B&B. It is much better as it is a cross between self-catering, hotel and B&B with the emphasis on your comfort. You have the freedom to come and go as you wish with a super range of breakfast items that you can help yourself to. If you would prefer to cook a meal, the kitchen is yours for you to use.
It’s like a home from home.
It would be remiss not to mention Helen who oversees the running of the property. What an incredibly hard working lady who is both very personable and helpful. It was delightful to make your acquaintance and thank you for your hospitality.
If you are looking for ‘Rest and Relaxation’, without the need for hotel facilities, the Commodore is totally recommended.

3 night stay
The only slight downsides from our point of view were a lack of storage space in our room, there were a few small drawers and no hanging space, and some noisy motorbikes riding up and down the road. We are not used to any road noise so this may have bothered us more than it would others.
