Stay in the heart of Cardiff This luxury hotel is in the city centre, looking out over Cardiff Castle and City Hall. It has large air-conditioned rooms, a 20 metre indoor heated pool, a gym, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi.

Hilton rock
Hotel in the heart of Cardif. Literally next door to the Cardiphian castle. But despite that, there's an access to the hotel to unload suitcases. But there's no parking. There's a discount on multilevel parking nearby, which doesn't stop parking from being insanely expensive.
Rooms are nice, all at the Hilton hotel chain level. I liked breakfast, too. Finally in Britain, there are vegetables at breakfast. And a good set of dishes in general.
WiFi is no problem. The elevator was somewhat slow and operated 1 in 2 which created queues.

We appreciate your comments regarding parking. While our city-centre location means we do not have on-site parking, we are pleased that the nearby discounted car park provided a convenient option, although we understand parking costs in the city can be a concern.
Thank you also for highlighting the issue with the lifts during your stay. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the reduced lift availability and the resulting queues. Your feedback has been noted and shared with the relevant team as we continually look for ways to improve our guests' experience.

John @ Graze going above and beyond.
I use this hotel often when in Cardiff for business.
All staff are excellent and very attentive, this evening John in Graze made a particular effort. He doesn’t know I’ve stayed roughly 50 nights this year (first time I’ve seen him, he’s new) so this behaviour wasn’t because I’m a regular.
Credit where it’s due, he’s an asset to The Hilton brand. Well played young man.

Lovely 2 night city break.
Perfect location for what we wanted to do in Cardiff. The hotel staff were all welcoming on arrival and throughout our stay. The room was clean on arrival and the whole hotel was quiet for our stay. The beds were very comfortable in our twin room. There is something for everyone at breakfast. We were served by Natalia in the evening for our meal and drinks, in the bar area. Great value for money for a 2 night break.

Hilton stay at cardiff
Our stay at the Hilton was wonderful. The family rooms were great and provided plenty of space for us. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast, which was delicious and perfectly suited our needs; the kids especially loved the variety of Nutella, fresh fruits, and marmalades. A special thanks to Yulia, who was fantastic in the breakfast area—she was incredibly helpful, patient, and went out of her way to ensure everyone's needs were met.

We had a very poor stay indeed.
We stayed in room 333
The room smelt of cigarette smoke.
The television did not work. We reported this on 3 separate occasions to 3 different members of staff who were behind the reception desk and each time we were told that someone would go up to look at it - I think they named Stuart ?
We were woken by the fire alarm just before midnight - we went outside only to see that there was a police riot van and multiple police officers in reception talking to a gentleman who was sitting on the sofa. There were also people still sat in the bar area. These people did not move and did not come outside at all. Unlike us in our night wear. We remained outside for some time. Once we were allowed back in, there were no staff members available to show us where the staircases were, reception was busy and no one knew what to do.
We eventually went in a lift however before arriving at our floor the alarm went off again. This time we had to try to navigate our way through an unfamiliar corridor with poorly placed fire exit signs. We eventually arrived in reception via a lounge / function room ? We were unable to open the fire exit doors there as there were a number of homeless rough sleepers in the doorway. All of this will be visible on your CCTV systems.
All in all a very poor experience of staying at The Hilton Hotel Cardiff.
Am still waiting for a response from Hilton hotels (was promised an email when we checked out 5 days ago.)
