I know it was very popular in the day. Perhaps the only hotel in Mbeya?

I can remember my father calling in there for food and drinks when returning us to Mbeya school in the early 1950's
We farmed coffee, in the Mbozi district

Good for a night when travelling

The hotel offers basic rooms, a good restaurant, good parking and proximity to an ATM. Just good for an overnight stay. Other than that its a very cold place and the town is completely boring...

A sweet home, far away from home.

Very nice and clean hotel in the centre of Mbeya. The rooms har comfortable beds, mosquito net, AC, hot shower, TV, and WiFi.
The hotel has a delicious breakfast which includes in the price. The hotel has a restaurant with tasteful food and a bar with human prices.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, meeting you always with smiles and nice attitude.
Strong WiFi everywhere in the hotel.
The hotel has a nice beautiful garden.
Thank you very much for making my stay great.

Worst service and no proper monitoring

Although food is good at this hotel there is no proper supervision and staff behaves arrogantly. I would say it is better to stay in other hotel as these guys behave like monopoly
Worst/terrible staff especially restaurant management

Lots of Millipedes in the Room

We rented the two room suite - the most expensive room. I took a large crawling millipede out of shower before my family saw it but then they came in and saw the dead bugs all
Over the floor and squealed.
Even the night manager took pictures of the dirty floor as he swept up the mostly dead arthropods it was so bad. The lamp next to the bed and power strip also didn’t work.
So cleanliness and maintenance are not really a high point at this old hotel - but the traffic noise is! You can hear it most the night.
Then in mid check out in the morning another guest complained that his bill wasn’t prepared as he asked and put my checkout on hold while he checked out - nice - but sort of a funny - I asked if I had to pay extra for all the millipedes…..
No offer of a discount….
