Excellent hotel
We have spent 3 nights here experiencing the Pintxos in the old town of San Sebastián. The hotel is of a high quality with lovely rooms, wonderful breakfasts and the reception staff are super helpful, especially helping us with our travel arrangements back to Bilbao airport. Although a reasonable walk away from the bars the taxis are very reasonably priced. Great hotel.

Breakfast at Barceló
The service is wonderful. Ruben was was very friendly and helpful for us. He gave us excellent personalized service and made us feel very comfortableThe quality of the breakfast buffet was excellent particularly enjoy the excellent fresh fruit.

Functional and that’s it
Somehow soulless place, nothing wrong and equally nothing exciting. They are generally a bit complicated- going to pool you need a card from reception that the pool guy gives you a towel, then return it…at the pool you only allowed to use a certain area as hotel guest, the bar at pool told us we can’t add drinks to our room as we are out of credit, … Anyhow, breakfast is good and plentiful as is the masses of guests. Takes 15 min walk to the beach.
