A gem overlooking the lake

A treat for a dinner/lunch or just an aperitif. For dinner I recommend booking and to show up around 6.30 pm, because at 8 pm they close the place. The dishes served are few and must be booked in advance. The food served is typical of Slovenian tradition and is great.
Honest prices, in six we spent about 70/80 euros including wine and various drinks.
The restaurant has a beautiful view of Lake Bled and there are some animals that the owners raise.
To get there there is a dirt road, but it is well maintained and wide. We made it with a city car and we had no problems.

Great mountain hut with food and drinks

Wonderful mountain hut serving hot homemade food, beer, wine, and soft drinks. Beautiful view over Bled. Challenging hike to get there but it is well worth the effort. The place is run by a charming young couple who work hard to make guests feel welcome and valued. Recommended

What a view!

After a short hike (1h) we arrived at Lovska koca Talez. Place is warm, had warm staff and big menu. Outside is a magnificent view which you can see only in movies. Currently the kitchen is under reconstruction so this part of menu will be available in march..

Amazing view

You can walk up to Talež on the marked footpath from either Bodešče bridge or Ribno bridge. It takes about 40 min up the hill. When you arrive you are awarded with amazing views of Bled and surrounding areas and the whole range of Karavanke mountains.. the food is excellent. Stews stakes soups. If you are not familiar with Slovene kitchen try štruklji, which are kind of cottage cheese dumplings and try mushroom soup which is very filling and made with wild mushrooms. Yumee

Best spot around Bled

Love the place, food, view.
Homemade traditional food.
Rooms with view.
Good sport for cycling going hiking, Bled Lake view.
Nice place for groups, families, friends and hanging out.
They have animals .
