Space, comfort and quality
The guesthouse is owned by the mayor of the village who is also a former football player who represented Romania in several internationals. The guesthouse has a long entrance courtyard with a covered area for socialising before entering the barn-like bar and dining-room. Many of the guest rooms are on a long extension at the rear by extensive gardens and grounds. Food is of good quality and service friendly. Everything about this business is efficient and if good quality. I have both stayed there (2024) and dined there in summer 2026. If the hotels in Sighișoara seem unsuitable for the particular needs of the traveller, or one is looking for somewhere quieter with direct access to wonderful historical buildings and meadows full of flowers, then this could be a good choice.

Amazing location, pristine guesthouse
A beautiful Guesthouse located 200m from the world heritage Saxon Church in Apold village.
Newly renovated, with immaculate gardens and plenty of facilities not seen in many similar guesthouse in the region. Super clean room with spacious bathroom. Staff very friendly and helpful at any hour! Will definitely return soon

A house to come back to
Placed near Sighisoara, but far way from the traffic and fast paced life this guesthouse in Apold is the perfect place when you need to recharge. There are lots of good things to be said, but I'll highlight the great local food and the excellent cleaning service.
What really impressed us is that the hosts remembered us even tough we were there before 3 years ago.
It's definitely a place to come back to.

A oases of peace and quiet. Wonderful hosts & beautiful property
First of all, special thanks to Dana, Gabi, Paul & all personnel for being so friendly, attentive to our needs and making us fell like home.
The location is an secluded transylvanian village with a beautiful medieval church, placed between wood & meadows covered hills, full of wild life. The property shows the care and how much heart, the owners put into it. It a restored saxon traditional property, with a lot good taste and attention to details regarding design. The rooms are very cozy. Plenty of outside facilities. Everything is spotless clean. The food is great (one of the best breakfast we've ever eaten in our travels), everything is either homegrown or produced from wild-game hunting.
If you want to take a break from the life's crazy pace, enjoy nature and the local culture, this is the place to stay at.

A lovely relaxing place
Stayed here for two nights and upon our arrival they upgraded our room (different from the one that we picked on Booking :) ). It all is brand new and the room that we stayed in was very spacious and cool. They have a big, big garden with sun-chairs in which you can relax, read a book or just dose off. They also have a sauna, a ciubar (a sort of wooden barrel filled with water that can fit about 4 people and gets heated with wood) and a small inflatable pool mainly used by children. Also every night they would make a bonfire which was a nice touch to a relaxing day.
The breakfast was included but they also prepared dinner every night and you were notified during the day what they were preparing. Everything was super tasty and cooked to perfection. One night we even tried their Palinca and Visinata, also very good.
The owners were very sociable and nice. Paul provided great entertainment during all our stay with witty jokes and really good humour. Basically I was laughing all the time I talked with him. Just awesome people.
I also noticed that the guests were also nice people, we talked at the bonfire night and had a great time.
We'll definitely come back!
