Could be better

Good location
Very warm and no airco but asked and was given a fan
Breakfast items not replaced unless asked Bacon ect and plates ran out and staff did not speak dutch

Mediocre terrace service.

We came as a family to have a drink on the terrace of the Fletcher hotel, this Thursday, July 30, 2026, around 5:00 PM. We were sitting at the table; when taking our order, the glasses from the previous customers had not been cleared. When our order was brought to us, we asked for the glasses to be cleared and the table to be cleaned since it was dirty. The waitress replied very coldly that she had to serve our drinks first before clearing the old ones. She never returned to clean the table, even though she passed by our table several times to serve other people. We then called a manager, and when we explained the situation to her, she apologized and sent us another very friendly waitress who cleaned the table for us.
When we received the bill, an entire bottle of wine was charged instead of a glass of wine, 30 euros instead of 5.25 euros. We went to complain again, no goodwill gesture was offered; she refunded the difference to the cent without any gesture of apology. Yet a large tip was left at the time of payment. We were very disappointed with the service at this place and the behavior after their mistakes. We will not come back and we strongly advise against this place.

Bad experience, never again.

Horrible, we were served our drinks at a table that wasn't even cleaned, with the old glasses from previous customers still there, and when leaving, they made us pay almost 30€ more on the bill...

Abysmal

The food is very bad. The appetizer from the chef consists of deep-fried who-knows-what rings, with tomato, a little cucumber, dry lettuce, and a few squirts of mayo.
Price exorbitant…..
Never again.

Nice old property, good location, moderate breakfast

Nice property and good location in terms of center and nice view over the canal and the old station.
We exchanged the comfort room (very small) for the luxury. That was easy.
Breakfast far below standard, which we are used to at Fletcher.
And again I don't understand that there is carpet in the rooms instead of laminate or linoleum.
Many times cleaner and more hysterical.
Because of my asthma really no advantage.
Luckily our room had 3 windows, so there was plenty of fresh air coming in during the night.
Nice ladies at reception.
